Have finally hit L43 and can roam odins/emain in relative safety harrassing enemy players - oh my god have I been waiting for this for ages and I thought Id be the nastiest bugger on the planet getting revenge for all the times Ive been ganked by purples.

Not to be - heres the reality.

Was out yesterday to get the last 900 or so rps to make rr2 and came across 3 greenies in uppland so I dutifully despatched them only to have the last one bow to me before I polished him off - I felt really guilty. To make up for this I came across a greenie Dwarf xping and he got a nasty add so (to relieve the previous guilt) I sorted out the add for him, we danced a bit with each other and I went on my way feeling much better.

Got a blue troll which I was happy about then grouped with a load of 50s and we got trashed when the mids came out to boot us off thier patch.

Heres the gist of the post, this is a game not a war and if I wallop a green them im purp to him and he dosent stand a chance, at least blues see me as red and have a shadow of a chance (blue mentalist once got me - well done nero - and I managed to luck out against a red sb once - bad luck null and thanks for the 913 rps).

As far as Im concerned green ganking is pointless and in any case you get about 70 odd rps which is nothing (I only did those 3 cos I was after rr2:) The firby I met in gorge the other day will back me up on this.

So if you see Keels the infi in the frontiers guys and Im purp wave and carry on xping cos youre safe, if im red to you run like hell cos Im after your rps:)

Know exactly how you feel. I couldnt play a nightshade in rvr very well. I think it takes a great deal of balls to go up close and personal to get a kill. I take my hat off (if I had one) to all the assassins who do it well ;)

I'll stick to plucking arrows and scratching armor with a spear thanks very much :D

Dont have a prob getting close and slotting folks - just think its unfair ganking greens when you could leave em for a lower level to get more rps from.

Hmph, personally I'm going to have a bit of a vendetta with all middie grey/greens as recently in uppland I found 1fg of grey mids, was happily dancing with them and a level 50 dorf started on me, even though I saw him first and didn't attack him.

Then all the greys joined in! Needless to say I aimed for them first :p

So, if you see me and I'm purp, beware cos if anything pisses me off you're splattered :)

Why not? With a bit of luck they die just like the rest :) Just need, hmm... Resisted 1 or more debuffs and a lucky dragonfang :(

i have to remind myself regulary (sp?) that assasin shouldn't have any feelings....when i kill and when i get killed....still i cant suppress(sp?) a /laugh when i find and kill stealther at uppland gates...sorry if it offends anyone ;)

but feelings and honor are different things.

i humbly ask any Alb to deliver this to Dalmar (if he/she doesnt read this board)

Thats what we need - a bit more honour in this game. Were all in the frontiers to kill each other but theres no harm in being gentlemanly about it.

I cant stand the stupid kids who jump on dead bodies.

I felt sorry for some yellows in DF a couple of days ago. A dwarf which waved and sat down while i shot him :\. Felt bad. And a midtank xping at cooks with mob on him. I also killed, he didn't react, but since he used a buffbot my bad feelings about this guy came to a little ease :).

Was in a group in DF and we wanted to go to the Alb entrance to kill a bit. When we went down a bit we found 5 briton females all looking -exactely- the same. Ended up /waveing and exp'ing together :p

I think you met the Angels :) They all wear uncoloured shiny armor and a white cloak and every last name is Angel

They are sooo cute. When I first met them a while ago at Caer Ulfwych I thought they were part of the summer event :)

Oh when xpin together watch out with the AOE nukes. :D

Makes a change for me to get a /bow after I've been slaughtered yet again :) I felt a stun and turned around to see you and a few of your friends. Got into my usual pissed off state of being annoyed at managing to walk past a group of enemies (dammit bad habit), but was quite happy to get a bow for once. You were all lower cons so I was expecting the usual /laugh jump jump jump on my head malarky.

Apologies as well for killing some green con luri (I think) at HMG today. I know duelling is against the rules, but I still felt bad after me and a few guildies stumbled accross your duels and attacked you :p (ok, we were totally outnumbered and were their for the sole aim of suiciding). Didn't realise it was a friendly duel until we'd already walked up to you all (eep 4vs 15) and killed some poor green con. It was intentional, but not in the usual way... if we'd have known what was happening we'd have happily moved on (still a nice, but very short skirmish :D).

I try not to gank greys, I did once. There were 2 grys Xping in Uppland so I ganked one then sobbed at him. His partner rezzed him, so then we danced and waved at each other and I watched out for them for a while while they XP'd.

I guess the reason why I ganked one was a warning to let me know I was about. Ive found a better way though. Stealth up to them and then I just say Boo!

They get to see, "Kiarra says something in a language you dont understand"

Makes em jump a little lol ! Much kinder and also makes a point :D

Blue and yellow cons Ill go after though :)

hehe i found that evil assassins can possibly be ganked by their concience by a well placed /cry when ur losing, worked a couple of times with the old thorey hehe, she just cried back and scampered off :)

(I prefer xp kills tho, warms my heart knowing i've pissed off an xp'er ;) )

Well thanks for the neutral stance towards me for 1 time only appreciate that will save me the hassle of hauling my arse back to DF to hoard cash - but one thing wasnt trying to save u a xp death i was trying to make sure u actually died

i understand perfectly that u wanted to kill me yourself....else u wouldn't try to taunt those mobs off me.

Must be them, they were using a guild cloak though with some blue colors I think. Really cute :)

I use emotes to show how I felt about the fight. After a good one, I /bow. After an unfair fight I /cry or /bow. After a fight with someone that showed lame behaviour I don't do anything or /cheer. Maybe it makes them feel proud?

I just respec most of the players in the game and I don't mind showing it to them, you're happy I /bowed and I'm happy mentioning me being honourable. Laughing at people just pisses them off :(

Yesterday killed 2 champs :) Though i was buffed and jumped them when they were sitting. Still very proud :)

getting steamrolled by a group of hibs tends to fire the vindictive spirit in any infil ;) spend some more time in emain :p
