Today is the day of my exam. The one I got a 0 for and had to pay to retake.

I've worked my arse off on this book, I've got it down to a tee. Themes, paganism, the use of setting ... the works! Wish me luck! If I fail I'll commit suicide in a fatal wanking accident.




Oh, and its my 18th birthday today, fucking joy. /o\

I've never been more nervous about an exam in my life, because I've actually worked hard for this.

I think the exam went quite well. Last time I got a zero, so anything is an improvement really. When I first read the question my mind went blank, so I wasted like 10 minutes of the exam just crapping myself twiddling my pen like that guy in that James Bond film. So by the time I had regained control of myself 10 minutes had already gone, and by the time I'd wrote some quick notes another 10mins had gone, so I only had 40 minutes...but somehow I managed to write 4.5 pages of A4 writing. I never got a chance to read through it as I ran out of time though. But 4.5 pages, there must be some marks in there, and I managed to get some cool sounding stuff about Paganism and Greek Mythology, so that might impress them. I can get my results online at 00:01 March the 1st.

Btw the book was Thomas Hardy's The Return of the Native

Wahaha, I got a fucking B! I got the highest out of anyone who was doing exam retakes, including people who had been revising for OVER a year, and already taken 1 exam on the novel. I didn't read the book I just used Sparknotes revision guides, and I got a bloody B! I was about to leave 6th form, but now I'm going to see it through to the end. My class hate me now, I go to 1 lesson per term, pay no attention and I still beat them. I am so happy.
