My lovely top-of-the-range company car, leather interior etc is being changed for a white astra van

Its a nice van, but a van nontheless

I suppose it does make more sense to have a van than a car cause i'm doing alot more moving around atm with offices moving garages, like today i could really have done with the extra room. But wont do me any favours for my street cred

More related i was offered a company car a new ford focus not top of the line but i was offered an estate seeing as i have a focus already thats not a wardrobe i said no.

Nah, I understand what you mean man, and having your main job perk being suddenly pinched from you is a real fucker. Some jobs are not worth doing if it were not for the perks, its the whole reason for doing them, like gynecology (if thats your tipple).

A comfy car has to be one of the bigger and better perks though. As long as you remember the good times, you can get through this.

Yeah, like today, you know, the boss came in and, you know, i said "i have craps phone, need to get new!" and he's like "lol" and points at the 300 everymodel phones we have and says "pickz one" and i did and like new phone. Dude..sucks a** to work like this.

If you have a company car you lose money through tax ect you should be able to pick your own i asked for a car allowence instead have to wait and see.

I have asked my boss if i can have a mattress put in the back, to protect monitors obviously. And some lava laps (for light) a disco ball (to project the light around the van) wall mounted 26in high def TV/monitor (so i can run tests on PCs from my van) curtains (so people dont look in the back to see what i have in there)

I'm not asking too much. Am I?

I'd love a van. I'd prefer a van over a car
