Race - Dwarf and Norse is supposedly better in the end game, but nothing quite bets the overall coolness of a troll wielding two big weapons 
After that all you need to remember is to keep Laxe to level and pick your other weapon. Keep that high, personally i went for the hammer i think most people go axe/axe... never seen a sword/axe zerka i think it has somthing to do with the styles.
Parry isn't really somthing i'd spec too highly in till you have the points to spare. For my zerka i'm going for the classic 50/50/28 spec, max damage and while Parry isn't that high with SC and RR bonuses its still respectably high (Besides, your there to do massive damage not stop hits. Leave that to warriors)

Hammer/Sword/Axe doesn't matter. go for what u feel for.
Personaly I whould pick Axe, it got the slowest 1h.
Also ither u can be a upfrontdamager and go for troll and 50/50/28 axe/LA/parry. Or a defensive dwarf/norse 44/44/44 weapon/LA/parry.
Your weaponchoice doesn't make ur styles suck. You will use the LA styles all ur life.
In the end it all comes down to your playstyle.

Hammer zerkers are best, slash dmg is pretty useless
Just ask hunters...........they use crush(if they are smart) in RvR
I have a hunter and i almost never use slash in PvE,mostly crush and thurst

i've head that the last style really isn't that great coz in RvR how often do u have time to look after when u'r little hibby/alb parrys, so i thought oh well waht the heck, lets try axe/la:49 and pumped rest into parry, and now i got 32 in parry without the bonuses, with then i got 40=)) and it works great

Whatever you do, as a zerker, don't put anything into qui
Best to do as soruzi and abuse the crappy way mythic made qui work. Higher qui means less style damage, and lower qui means MORE style damage, especially when a stat is below 60, you get heavy penalties. Except for a low qui LA user, this is actually a HUGE benefit. So if you want huge frontloaded damage, go with troll with 10 str/con/dex or as soruzi

Imho dont make future gimp. When 1.62 comes in euro im gone but if i was you, i would make rather h2h savager or 2h savager. Atleast they arent going to be nerfed - yet.
