wish we could have a server that still had pre-si stuff.. i.e. good stuff was crafted, df, marfach etc... whilst keeping the improvements to chars. but not the additional stuff from SI and ToA.. just /charcopy a char to there.. gives casual gamers more of a chance since there aint massive amounts of camping and lvling of stuff to do.

sure the templates will be sucky.. but would be same for all realms

the gap atm is FAR too wide between casual players and the hardcore ones.. and peeps are just gonna leave game in droves.. leaving a few hardcore peeps on server.. then cycle will repeat and separate them again.. and more will leave..

the money aspect of the game is getting quite silly atm tho.. i agree. i respecced my mentalist to light and am now finding cash easy to come by.. and i will undercut anyone's prices for scrolls etc.. but still its too high for casual gamers. if i set prices too low.. peeps gonna just buy my stuff and flog it for a higher price on CM. i try to sell lower than other peeps every time.. but there's always gonna be peeps like that out there.. sadly

i mean.. when the belt i want is 30p.. and a certain eldritch pays 50p for a ring.. what chance does anyone else stand in the money stakes?

however.. the ml thing.. this can be got around.. if all the casual gamers pool together here's how..

instead of doing a full raid in 1 night.. knock off 2-3 stages when u can..
join in on the other raids not involving ml requirement to enter..
do a little at a time.. sooner or later all step will be done ready for the boss stage.. and they usually advertised on /as or toa cg..

in other words.. do what u can when u can.. if u wanna ofc.. sometimes i cant be arsed either it IS possible to do ml's a bit at a time..

At the end of the day the game is about fun.

I have found it is better to just do exactly as above, or u can get frustrated.

And i can assure u censi i have far less cash than u, give anything to any1 who needs and have NEVER been accused of stealing.And back to the treants if u so generous why did i have to leave guild over your greed?.I find the place and tell guild how to do it,we all get some gems then wham few days later u perma camping it and selling the gems.Now lets see the differance i show how to get gems and giv away, u take idea,perma camp and sell.
You may be generous to your circle of friends but there is more ppl in realm than your friends censi.Deny this all u like but eventually even u PM me and admitted u had been greedy and let the cash from treant gems get better of u, so whos to say cash not got better of u again?

I not agree with this, i like the game more than ever before.
in the old days you sort a template all your stats caped and ready to go just like everyone. so is every single one can get the best armor with all the stats caped you could aswell say everyone run naked, all equal stats etc just like caped armor. with toa its no more posible to cap all of the stats and overcap bonus etc etc wich make a beter random in the game.

Allso where you say "You need artifacts to be good" is imo bull*** The stats on the Sage (gala) Staff with triple focus is 1000 times beter than staff of kings just to give an example. Then when you desperately want a artifact and you cant get i, that means 1 thing: Bad guild or bad teamspirit even.

in my opinion (for what its wurth) Thx Mythic for such a great addon as TOA :worthy:

Its smart to do the prequest before with a group. There will be a moment that you anoi other players with whines like im bored etc.. (heard it before im sure you to) That is a good time to go and do the prequest.

When you go to a raid then and you hear we dont do blabla.. you dont have to do he ML twice becouse you are prepared. Allso if you got time and there is a ml6 raid, join it allso if you not have ml5. you will get the credit and than you level easy afterwurth.

When there is a post on FH about a ML there are allways 2-3 groups who do the prequests. imo That is silly do them before even when you not even think about doing a ml soon. done is done. Look at my bard, ML9 atm and i never got frustrated.

I hope this tips help you to get you ML done smoother.

you left the guild because i was farming them with cori (who need a gem)and didnt invite you. and people couldnt understand what was wrong with you tbh. i even asked in gc if anyone wanted to come with me and farm some things. it wasnt till we were there doing it that you wanted to come and then got the proverbial arse when we said we were nearly done and there was no point. didnt think there was any fault on my part but extended the olive branch to you anyway, for which you conceded your reaction was uncalled for.

seem to recal you farming that one a fair bit too really. but for the record me and toki were the ones that worked out the solo technique from messing around with the mob once (toki will claim it was his idea more than mine, which I also dispute, but you sure as hell didnt come up with it)

I wanted to come to get gems for every1 not for me, I had my chars gems after 1st run or 2 And i did admit i over reacted by leaving guild but u also admitted u was letting cash get the better of you ingame

I don't think TOA made the game impossible for the casual gamers. It seems to me like you want to be a casual gamer AND have the best things there are ingame.

Well... things don't work like that Not irl thus not ingame. People who spend more time on things and therefore make more efforts should get a better reward. Offcourse it might be frustrating to see people have better artifacts, more money and better chances in RvR but they probably also spend more time getting those artifacts, mls and gear.

I see lots of non TOA'ed chars still enjoy RvR. Yes, maybe they loose more often, yes maybe they won't visit Emain all the time but atleast they seem to enjoy RvR.

And PvE is and allways was an important aspect in this game. Maybe you don't like it but then you might be better off looking for another game. NF will change the RvR but if you don't want to wait and judge for yourself instead of reading all the negative posts about it then good luck funding another game

hmmmm....i agree with u all through nimronn cause i had the exact same feeling the last couple of months
My problem might be that i have tried to concentrate my effort on 3 alts instead of trying to get one done.
But after a while now im all stuck stomping my foot at same place.
On my hero i lack khaos shield and scalar scrolls....have been farming causually for scalar scrolls for nearly 2 months now. Not funny anymore....buy them u say..NO WAY!....wont pay the 3 p for 2 scrolls...
And to get the khaos shield done it took a lot of time i say...now i have cred and need the shield.
As for camping....i run to SoM almost every time im online to see if its up, almost never is, and when it is ALWAYS someone there. And one time when it wasnt and i was gonna get people there, one guy just swooped past and said he had camped it:S.....i just went away from there, cause i cant compete with that stupidness or greediness that it takes to elbow urself forward to those arties u need. And as for what lots of peeps say about those who have camped should get artie, ofc thats true...they put some effort in getting it. But problem is that people who have bb or more acc just put one of their alts there all day long ffs. How can u ever get the chance to try start camping if some peeps just put a guy there at all spots !??. Impossible.....no i think only chance would be to wait until peeps calmed down and either 1: Have all arties....and 2: cant make any more money from them. And then its too late cause then next expansion comes out, and new arties items etc is wanted
hehe.....sometimes i get so frustrated just thinking of this..
I just want my templates done so i can rvr proparly....to much to ask?

Its pretty easy, its all about friends, if you have friends TOA will be a piece of cake, if your a loner, you wont get far.
Even if there are greedy peeps ingame, who cares, because I know my friends arent, and i'm playing wif my friends, and i'll have fun, no matter what I do. (thanks to cens, toki, cliccy and all other PM people, else I would have never returned for the TOA grind). :worthy:

Also ..even if you dont have many friends ingame, i'm pretty sure if you ask for help in a TOA chatgroup, you can get pretty lucky, because not everyone is greedy, and most people still love to help out.

And i got lots of friends in guild and lots of other long term play friends from game. The problem is when u have to have them all online at once when artie spawn etc
And thats not as easy to acomplish
