Although to be honest karam hadn't played in like 2 or 3 months, we duelled again after that and it was far closer. But then again I know how to duel pole armsmen - DO NOT USE STYLES :p

Had quite a fun evening of duels last night, and scavenger, I'll kick your arse next time. The only reason you won the decider was cos I used styles without thinking :p

Also, I wasn't using RA - those were my chants! :)

I'll duel you if you want sighfi, but I do normally loose to s/s. I was very shocked to win most of the duels I fought last night :eek7:

lol, well, to be honest, now i've got my arc poleaxe i might aswell be banned. im a bit of a cheat class. 538 dmg in 1 hit to a lvl 50 hero ://///////// that was just poleaxe aswell, if it had been defenders rage he'd have been killed in a single hit.

i absolutly raped a paladin on that night of duels too, killed a lvl 50 paladin in 4 hits, owned as i would say. its just down to pure luck, weather they parry all the time or weather you miss. and if your fighting a shield user (shields need nerfing btw) its a matter of weather they block every hit or block 99% of hits.

and orblings right, i am a nice guy, and im very funny.

i havnt replied to all you noobs flaming me coz i havnt even been on here for the past 2 days, its the fucking weekend, i've been out of the house. sad bastards.

Paladins and mercs are the easiest fights you could hope for from a polearmers points of view, two-handed or shield users.
Only trick with shield users is to watch for them using engage, at which point stop using styles and just wear there endurance down instead with non-styled hits.

pole vs pole fights are hilarious, both are to scared to risk a style.

Defenders Rage, huge damage, low fatigue cost, heavy bleed opening = style used on you

Defenders Revenge, high damage, low fatigue cost, long duration stun, 9 seconds just like slam, = opening, Defenders Rage.

So basically using a style on a polearmer is inviting them to use the biggest damage and most devasting chain, and keep you stunned for 9 seconds to finish you off.

yea, and after the defenders rage/revenge combo, while the enemy is stunned, the armsman goes behind them, uses phalanx (pretty high dmg) followed by defenders aegis (cant remember but its lvl 0 and owns). anyone thats standing after that is proper hard, or a gay hero with 2 full insta's.

unfortunatly tho its rare to go :1 with anyone let alone someone using styles in rvr. its usually either a sniper, or caster or zergage that owns me. if i came up against a style user 1:1 (zerker eg) they wouldnt last 5 seconds.

i seriously reckon i could easy own a hero 1:1 now. without they're moose/ra ip they wouldnt stand a chance, but unfortunatly as they are SO over powered, it'd be a dam close fiight. as i said, i did 538 dmg in 1 hit to a firby lvl 50 hero yesterday, and thats just using the poleaxe style, using the defenders rage/revenge would be more like 600+ dmg. even someone with 2khp couldnt resist that shit.

I was thinkin, due to Karam bein away for so long and havin so little Rp's compared to some of the other Lv.50 tanks, maybe he does loose coz of others havin better items/resists and RA's ?
just a thought, and be4 u say 'No karam just rly sucks' coz no he dont :p

Defenders aegis does about the same damage as a phalanx or mangle style, but has a long duration movement reduction too.

Often find with fast weapon or dual weilders though that you can actualy get a free second rage/revenge combo even after langing the first revenge, keeping them stunned yet again.

Typically I move behind use Rage as primary and phalanx as backup, just incase, as good as Phalanx/aegis is a second Rage/Revenge will own even more.

Just a thought but theres really no point using the poleaxe style, it only does the same damage if a tiny bit more then crippling blow, but unlike crippling blow it has a huge endurance cost and has no bonus like the movement reduction crip has, and crip opens up for the mangle style which does more damage even still with only medium endurance cost.

Typical fight goes Rage primary, crip blow back up, if rage lands go for the revenge, if not try again with Rage as primary and mangle as back up this time. and altenate till you get the revenge in and win.

And yes, a polearmer can beat heros even with moose, have done a few times at the recent hadriens/odins duels. Its by no means a garunteed victory, nothing ever is, but i've been slammed by a spearo and still won in the end even after moose.

quaz is sort of right. apart from the bit about me not owning.

i do play about 90-98% less than anyone else on this game (on the planet), and do have less rps, less equipment and less RA's than any other person on the planet. yet some how i still absolutly annihilate anyone i come into contact with. i think im just blessed or some shit.
