It might actually be better in ASCII but you could try right clicking and saving as. Its a wmv file, perhaps it has to have WMP to play it?

I'm using firebird and it also opens in a new window with weird text (damned wmv files!)

Guess the solution will be to save the link to desk.

It never used to do this...I think I might have altered file associations somewhere or something equally stupid by mistake
