... who would you choose?

Meaning you could never listen to anything else. This inclues artists et.c.

Excuse me if this thread has been made before, i have not seen it :)

probably The Beautiful South.
i've loved their music since i can remember, and im playing them at the moment singing along.

it couldnt be something heavy if it was the only music i could listen to.

I'd probably go for Opeth because there is a bit of variation....

Would be Nine Inch Nails but I would probably go insane if all I had to listen to was them ... so my choice is Moloko.

Opeth for same reason as above. Godheads lament, Blackwater Park, Silhouette, Apostle in triumph, Closure, Weakness etc. :D Also they made more music than lotsa other artists so more choice again.

Rush maybe ?

An eternity of 4-4 would depress me intensely. Time-signature is all-important folks :)

I suppose you just pick one of your faves with the biggest back catalogue.

The Fall.

Oh man. Wise words.
4/4 gets so goddamn boring. I'm not even sure the average person nowadays even realises there're other time signatures. :(

I love a song where the time signature changes all the time or where you really have to concentrate to work out what it is because it's just part of the music rather than it being forced.

Cirmcumstances by Rush you don't even think about it unless you try.

Right now it would be Pendulum but of all time I'd go with Faith No More. If you're gonna stick with one band, at least pick one that doesn't stick with one style of music.

This is a very tough choice. I might have gone with the Smith's but after much consideration and a bid to be different, I have settled on the Rolling Stones.

As much as love them I wouldnt pick the Fall. For all the albums (40+?) there are some 7-8 albums that i adore, but at least 15 or so that are utter tripe :p .

I dont think I could pick a band that I could only listen to because if I picked one id regret it and wished id picked another. First on the list would still be the Pixies tho (yawn).

You'd probably like the later two Biffy Clyro albums...

I'd reccomend Cynic - Focus. Mind bendingly technical album.
