If we have to zerg....

I'd been thinking along similar lines myself though smaller scale battles. I just saw end of beta (barrel of laughs) "You Started it", "I Only hit you coz you hit me" as the result but still worth a go

KING OF THE HILL

Purpose of Game.
Read the title.

Rules -
- 2 Groups of Mids (My idea we get it first) stand at the silo.
- Albs, Mids, Hibs stay at MG's (Dun Crim for Hibs)
- CG per realm one scout observer from each realm
- Take it in turns for Hibs then ALbs to try and take over the hill (Albs last coz my game and they stink) Actually Albs first coz I think we have more chance against them :p
- Once a team is defeated, Release on Death - Winners get to rezz there team
- Scouts observe and call next teams etc round robin style.

I know there are issues here like telling everyone and making sure sides stay even but hey. We can try. Also the idea is to take the hill so sitting patiently at the bottom means you are losing so maybe a 5 minute time limit per round.

Second issue is I need someone to run with this for hmmm personal reasons :D

Prize. Well it has to be the Best Realm award presented by TPT and the cheeky chicks. I'm sure we can get some gfx for you to post up and gloat over.

Enough Support I will move it to its own thread and ask for 3 organisers from each realm. They have to be able to communictae to a lot of people. I will just take part for ermmm personal reasons. Yes I've said that already havent I.

something as organised as this will bring...

120 Albs
120 Mids
50 Hibs

Just not fair on them.

close, but i think it's more likely to be;

200 Albs
120 Mids
50 Hibs

The realm population of Midgard and Albion are almost identical. This isn't Excal server mate :p

Err look at the stats sometime. They're about the same in size with midgard still having more level 50's than albion. Oh and before people start whining about "well our level 50's are mainly inactive" - bollocks. Shut up and smell the maplenut crunch. Like we don't have inactive 50's? I could name a bunch of them. It's pretty even.

Wanna use this forum as indicator of active ppl in each realm? Albs outnumber mid posts 2:1..

And you're wrong to rubbish the argument so quickly, it's a significant factor ATM, for example the daily and nightly camps of Midgard MileGate in Emain.

I think we can safely say Albs gather more people in EMAIN than any other place. We're almost always outnumbered there.

But just because more of them flock to the same place it doesn't mean they have more than us, just that they're more organised/RP hungry :p

You can't argue in-game statistics against the guessed numbers of postings on a 3rd party forum - heh. Nice try no banana ;)

Anyways, I'm often outnumbered in emain :p

I guess alb has less level 50's powerlevelling assassin classes than midgard ;)

Also bear in mind that the majority of midgard has a far greater realm rank than the majority of albion. This is because midgard level 50's have been there for soooo much longer than alb level 50's. As a result they are getting jaded/bored with RvR sooner than albs have gotten jaded/bored with RvR.

Simple really.

sounds like it could be a bit of fun, but i think if everyone came with level 5 alts it would be so much better:)

300 people wiped by a torc:p

Interesting point actually - most likely that simply demonstrates that there are more Midgard players ingame during the day while a large proportion of us Albs have jobs and work, and can only post during the day.... I wonder how many Middies have multiple level 50 chars compared to Albs...

Aye, you cannot spend more than 20 minutes in emain without meeting some mid stealthier. Good that half of them are seasoned players and half is same n00bs like me :p

Stole my next point about looking at level 50 chars. Having a 2nd lvl 50 char is quick going to become the norm. Its funny grouping with people then finding out who there first char was. There are more albs than mids online period. This also may have bearing on where the mids in RvR are. malmhous has never been so packed for a long while and many of them if not most are 2nd chars. Sickeningly some are third chars!!!! The question these days is not "when did you start" but "who's your main char"

Also anyone checked figures on Albion excal. Maybe tehre an indicator! Mids may get a lot of non active excal albs.
I have a 4 hib chars that I never play do i inflate there figures?
All I see is that albs can bring more to a party than anyone else. And the bit about daytime play is out of date. Its very quiet in the daytime in Mid things dont pick up until 15:00 GMT which could be 16:00/17:00 for many of the europeans outside UK

I will bet £5000 if someone can prove that albs do not have more people online playing chars on average than mid. So run along now.

Don't get me wrong. I dont care how many you have. Albs need all the help they can get.

Never knew the truth was silly ...We already know that if it came to it Albion will probably bring the most people. But the idea of Albs bringing 66% more people then Midgard is the silly post.
I spend all my gametime in Emain now, its not like I base my opinions on plain statistics. I know you can raise a zerg as big as ours ( or nearly as big ), its just that on average, there are more Albs in Emain then any other realm.
Anyway, enough side-tracking. I think the idea of having a certain amount of groups coming to this "fracas" would be best.

P.S
I said "almost identical"
