You could try UKIP who, to the best of my limited knowledge, don't like Brussels but are still down with the blacks.
A lot of people dislike sprouts though apparantly.

I really, really really wish that site was a parody. Although i like right wing conspiracy theories as much as the next man.

Im currently "investigating" the Denver Airport conspiracy, before that it was the Nazis in Antartica

Sorry Nath I should have pointed out that I genuinely don't give a shit. None of the popular parties serve my best interests. I don't have any feelings of disdain so I don't plan on wasting my time by spoiling a vote. I plan to be working in another country next year so i'll continue with my political apathy for now. Call me lazy if you want :)

I'm a Tory because out of very few things that I can focus on I believe the best form of government is a liberal capitalist market economy where individuals rights and freedoms should be protected and developed. The governments purpose is to guide and promote growth not to micromanage and rule us.

That there should be welfare system but its purpose if for emergencies to help out the Widow, the sick, those who are finding their life a struggle, instead of at the moment where it has become all encompassing, inefficient and run by central state where it has been corrupted and can now be used as a way of life.
Its meant to be a supplement, and in nearly all cases a temporary help, a means to an end that is to get the person in need back into being a productive member of society as soon as possible for those who can work, But it should also be there to look after those who's lives and a decent quality of life depend on it.

It can no longer do what it used to do, there are not enough young people and too many old to keep the system working as it used too, those who are perfectly capable of doing work and thus contributing to the countries productivity and growth "but" choose to have a lifestyle that require the state to look after them have to be actively and aggressively pushed into training, and work, if they have kids give them day care vouchers. Actually on the substance on vouchers. A lot of the essentials should be paid for using state welfare vouchers Food, Clothes, etc etc. With money being given but only an amount that can be used for minor expenses, its there to help not so they can buy, in terms of economic classification, luxury items, even chocolate is a luxury, plus it would be a very attractive extra reason to get them out working.

I also think that the best form of help is often provided by Charities, and that many of the roles the state has taken on could be done far better and efficiently by those who's core organisation values revolves around the person and not around the targets, many charities do great jobs much better than the state but struggle for money, maybe channelling some of the tax payers cash to them, properly checked, established and audited, so they can do what they want to do, im sure it would save the country money.

And on immigration and the EU. I was only saying that I would like to hear what personally reasons he has for his obvious hate for immigrants and such what, I hear a lot of people who complain nearly neurotically about things that they have never experienced but have read in in the media which themselves usually have their own agenda. I also think that immigration is not something that should be outright hated, a large percentage of the people who have arrived here have done a lot of good. Yes the open doors policy has massive problems and citizenship of the new arrivals has to be earned not expected, we are a small island after all. The EU has been a good thing, all these nutters who claim "better out than in" are mad, its a vehicle that allows the combined weight of countries that have the same ideals and values to do well, and we're going to need it in the next few decades, ok it should not be a state (unless we are running it of course), more of a very free trade zone for skills and business. Although its also found that its using its high standards of living to get governments to bend over backwards to be able to join. the EU is a funny thing.

If you think any of the parties can resolve those issues you are insane. I voted Labour because I like Tony Blair no other reason.

Tories have got as much personality as the gimps who clicked vote tory on the poll which is fuck all :p

I tried this on a local forum (labour constituency) and labour is still going way strong.

Theres just a ton of posts about Thatcher. Tbh its silly to base your vote on something that happened 20+years ago with a completely different leader.

I wouldnt not vote Labour because of Unions and Powercuts, because that would be silly.

I have more in common with the Labour government than the Tories as I see the tories as a load of middleclasss and upwards toffs.

I see labour as what it does, socialist government for the worker(god I sound like a Commie :p)

Either way, once the party gets in power, it can/will do nothing for this country. Maybe pull us out of Iraq/Afghanistan, cant see any money ready for the NHS will the inclusion of the smoking ban(thats a lot of tax on smokes gone!). Likewise for schooling, with smokes gone, where can they get the money from? I suggest MPs taking a paycut but I cant see that happening, can you?

We need a nuclear deterrant, abeit not as big as the past, but one just in case. We still need a military for security reasons as well as jobs. And all the jobs that were free a few years ago are getting taken up by the open door policies from countries like Poland(they are hard workers, not going to knock them :) )

But as a nation, this may seem racist but you all think im the next Hitler anyway, we need to look after those already living here. Those that were born and bred here. Those whos families have been putting money in the coffers with regards to pensions and stuff. My Dad works damn hard for his money and he thinks he wont be getting a state pension when he retires as there isnt that much money left.

People from my generation are not going to have a pension as people are living longer and the population is aging without not enough young people sexing to keep the population even.

its not that there arent enough births these days, its that not enough young people are productive and contributing to the country.

Its disgusting, my sister who has a young daughter and is training to be a teacher (in her 2nd year) is facing being forced to quit college and get a job, her fiancee (sp?) earns to much. They essentially live off his £15k salary and a small student loan. up to now they have not paid rent because she has lived in one of my mums houses rent free, however my mum has now retired and needs the money from rent on her properties to live on.
I told her she should get rid of her hard working fiancee and do what all the other lazy fuckers do. seems these days if you are lazy you get free stuff, if you really try and make an effort you get fucked over.

They should force the leaches into work, the roads are in desperate need of repair (yeah thanks labour) they can start with fixing those. then they can start on cleaning up, most town/city centres are a disgrace, litter and general dirtiness.
ofc there are genuine cases where people cant work, these people should be looked after by the state, the lazy day time TV fans who are quite capable of working should get nothing.

Labour...socialist? You are having a giraffe. That's the most stupid comment I've read on this forum for oh, a day.

I'm white. I'm British. I'm a muslim. Where do I fit in with the BNP then Thadius?

All your comments about merry christmas being banned etc etc, do you think UK muslims want this? Of course they don't! It's pathetic over-PC zealotry from officials who have no idea who to promote race relations.

My family love Christmas, we are British, we celebrate Christmas just like the neighbours do. You'll actually find that most people of all denominations agree with most of what you have said - by over compensating people highlight the differences between faiths and backgrounds and just piss people off.

We also think that the UK is a soft target and immigration DOES need to be controlled, I think I agree with a lot of what Throd says and some of your points too. This country is a joke at the minute and is on its knees. The state is a nanny state meddling with every aspect of our lives and it pisses me right off.

This week I heard the government have a new brainwave - somehow enforcing speed limiters be installed on motorbikes, as motorcyclists have the most accidents. What a fucking joke (you can prob guess I drive a motorbike) - we have the most accidents because car drivers don't fecking look properly for bikes half the time and slam into you. Why don't we fit these boxes into cars too? Meh.

Anyway fuck knows who I will vote for. It won't be BNP, Labour, Tories or Revolutionary Communist Party anyways ;)

Finally, if I caught someone breaking into my house I would chop his (or hers, PC fans) fucking hands off. Same wavelength chum ;)

It is 100% pointless to vote for anybody else other than Conservatives/Labour.

Maybe a protest vote makes sense to some people, but does a protest vote make the slightest bit of difference? no it doesn't.

All that will make a difference is a different government, we have two to choose from, blue and red.. right now red is ultra fucking shite and ruining a lot of things for a lot of people. I want to give the blue's a chance because I knew this shit was coming with the reds, I told everyone to vote blue last time and look what shit we ended up with.

(I put it down to red/blue so idiots don't start saying "but Thatcher" etc. Fuck Thatcher, she's gone, it's a different set of people and times change).

I am sure that the Conservatives will do a lot of things wrong if they get in, but can they really do things much worse for us than Labour have this time? Would you rather have Gordon Brown or David Cameron? One of them seems down to earth and the other seems like a right fucking cock.

I can totally see why people voted Labour in all those years ago, it looked appealing and Blair was good. But I can't see that many good things they have done..

The streets are as unsafe as they ever have been, crime only rises despite what any figures show, police are stuck under mountains of paperwork. Little kids terrorise people because there is no punishment, they get away with muggings and vandalism as if it's alright "they are just kids".. tell that to Kenny and Damini!

There are many more things to list about what's gone downhill, but I don't think there is any need.

It's all about the lesser of two evils, as south park once said, a vote between a giant douche and a turd sandwich..

The country will continue downwards if Labour get back in.. and maybe it will go downhill anyway if the Conservatives get in, but I think they have a whole lot more to prove over the last years of Labour thrashing them and therefore will have to try a lot harder to give us what we want.

Heh I'd like to mirror some of Xtro's thoughts here. I'm of Indian heritage but I consider myself nothing but British as this is where I was born, I don't give a shit about any religions they are all stupid (imo).

I do not understand what the fuck is going on with PC in this country, you can celebrate st paddys day but not st georges? Like Xtro said most people enjoy Christmas wether they celebrate it for religous resons or just because it is another holiday. The more festivities the better I say.

I voted Conservative because Gordon Brown scares the crap out of me and i think a change would be good to shake things up a bit.

I don't understand Scottish Nationalism, surely you would just end up being some minor EU state like Luxembourg only poorer?

Or like Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Finland or the Netherlands. They see to do ok as smaller countries within the EU.

To be honest I'm bored of Scotland and the Scottish nationalism. I'm suppose I was a unionist but am thoroughly bored of the whining and bitching, and frankly England isn't going to suffer terribly economically without them. South East England + London if they were their own entity would be in the top 10 economies in Europe.

They got their Parliament and the complaining continues, what about? I don't know. Its because of Scotland that we in England have to suffer a Labour government, more people in England voted Tory than Labour last election, Labour is run by a bunch of Scots, People in England can have laws that only affect them but not the Scots due to the West Lothian Question. England doesn't have its own Parliament and frankly its horribly Unfair. So let them go and when the suddenly they realise that their "problems" haven't healed over night, they won't be able to blame us any more.

No, we're sensible enough to realise that 250 years of money-raping, mismanagement and under-development won't get fixed overnight.

I chose SNP btw. They seem to have more of a clue than the other parties combined.

Indeed.

Seems to be the fashionable thing to complain about England, while you live there/use their resources/benefit from Englands achievements/enjoy safety in (or because of) England. There are other choices of where to live...

If we were so anti other country/patriotic in our speech openly I'm sure we'd end up frowned upon.

If I went to Iran and started bitching to fuck about the stupid laws/attitudes they have and whined and whined, I'd expect to get kicked out at the least, and probably just end up dead or rotting in a cell somewhere.

If you come here and behave the same way you get rewarded and the country must adapt to your behaviour because we have to be 'tolerant' :p

I love multicultural societies and am interested in all of the world, I just don't understand the logic of going to someones house and bitching about everything, yet refusing to leave anyway because their couch and TV setup is quite fun. :p

Economically i think England and Wales would be better off if Scotland was given full independance but i think we would suffer politically.

I think the UK's positions of prominence in the UN the NPT and the world's stage in general is eroding as it is and to effectively reverse the act of union won't do us any favours.

I don't think I would like that, imagine Braveheart but with nukes :(

You seem to think that if Scotland became independent it would all be split? Technically its all run and owned by the MOD which is a governmental department of Westminster and the UK.
If Scotland left the UK would still exist, England, Wales and Northern Island + overseas territories, plus the MOD actually owns the land, all the hardware and such would still be UK property and wouldn't be something just handed over, in the short term there would probably be a situation like in Cyprus with the UK sovereign base they have there. Also I believe that the Queen would still be the head of state.

If Scotland did become independent there is the issue with the UK institutions, there would be the NHS, Immigration, Social Security, Police, Home Office, DEFRA, Education etc and all the other departments that would cease to be the responsibility of the UK all these departments would have to be set up and organised. Then the UK would most likely before independence became official move most of its liquid assets back down south over the border, I know i would!

Additionally Scotland isn't actually a sovereign state, so it has no place in the EU, UN etc, I'd imagine these would be fast tracked but they would still have to be applied for but a temporary situation would no doubt be brokered.

From what I've read the SNP is counting on many of these things to be handled by the EU and counting on EU money, but then the EU is rather busy spending a lot of its money on the eastern European block. So it wouldn't be like with Ireland etc where there was a lot more money going around to fund all these things. Don't get me wrong, I frankly don't care! but it would be interesting see how it would play out. I just envision Taxes going up hugely first aimed at commerce who would then flea to other other markets, the Tax rate for North Sea is already at the line where Shell has suspended further investment as its uneconomical. But anyway to enjoy the free education/health and stuff Taxes would have to go up not just to keep the services going but to pay for the governmental infrastructure of a Country. Scotland has only 8.5% of the British population but it accounts for 9.7% of all spending.
