Depends on the size of the impacting meteor and where it landed of course.

If you're on the opposite side of the world, then you might survive the initial blast (ultraviolet radiation, ionizing gamma and xray radiation, initial heat pulse and fireball). Thats about it. If we're talking about a meteor large enough to wipe out mankind, then you'd probably be hit by the blast wave, which would go round the world at speeds of 100,000 miles per second with a temperature approaching the surface of the sun. Assuming you were wearing a high factor sun cream and survived that, then you'd have to survive the 5 km high tidal waves that would go round the entire globe. Assuming you had a rubber ring on, and you passed your bronze certificate in swimming, then apart from minor inconveniences such as earthquakes, eruptions of all the worlds volcanos, a 1000-year nuclear winter, all life on earth being wiped out, then who ya gonna play DAOC with ?

go up to a lovely isolated place either in the forest or on the cliffs or something and watch the day progress untill it all ended, however the end of the world is the deciding factor in this i mean if i blows up and we're all instantly vaporised then ok but if theres like quakes and stuff thats likely to hurt you before it kills you then id go for the pills and wine option and just take control over an uncontrolable situation.

If you want a lay, you better have the subject home, inside and with locked doors. to start with, if you go out looking for a fuck you are gambling with your life. And i for one wouldn't want to be killed with 18 hours left just because i felt like i needed to walk the street. No, for the last few months, maybe the last year, I have tried to live every day more or less as if it was my last. The main reason for this would be because I may be going into the forces soon, if so, my life will change dramatically and so I've been trying to make the most of every day I have before I go in.

I've done things in the last year that I never would have imagined myself doing, mainly because, when I get the chance to do something, I try and take it and do whatever it is, because I dont know how much free time I'll have if I go into the forces, and so I may not beable to do whatever it is for a fair while untill I get settled. I've tried to spend my time doing meaningful things as often as possible, even if every now and again I had a few hours on DAoC.

Yes, I may not have managed to live EVERY day like its my last but I have tried to. If it was announced that the world would end, I would just try to cram more of the same kind of thing, hence my original statement.

Why are you trying to pick holes in what I'm saying? its not like what I said affects you in the slightest. You made a generalisation that any DAoC player saying that was full of BS. I pointed out, perhaps a little 'tongue in cheek', that I am not a DAoC player and so what you said doesnt apply to me, and still doesnt.

I believe in what I said otherwise I wouldnt have said it, I think I've spent the last year doing things that I enjoy or doing things that alot of other people havent done. I feel I've spent the time wisely, and so, as I said, if the end of the world was announced or whatever, I'd probably just try to do MORE of what I've been doing already.
