I have a spangly new laptop now, its a widescreen one (Dell XPS 15z). The problem I am having is that Mozilla 5 looks gash on it (type seems fluffy) so I tried IE and that looks loads better.

The problem I have is that every webpage is tiny so I have to zoom (125% seems the best) is there anyway of making it permantly zoomed?

Tried changing resolution but that made EVERYTHING look a bit AIDS :(

Edit - the default zoom level box is unchecked and I have no toolbars running.

Or it might be the DPI setting. Try 120 DPI from graphics properties.

Or it could be Firefox using hardware acceleration for font rendering.

Tools > Options > Advanced tab > General sub-tab

In the "Browsing" subsection, there is a tick box for "Use hardware acceleration when possible". Enable or disable to your preference.
