Idiots Guide to running a MOH:AA bookable server plzz help

Hi, (yes Im new to the forum - so if this is in the wrong place... SORRY!)
I have read and read all sorts of posts about commands and setting up servers etc, (maybe i'm dumb) But it's all still a bit confusing.

What I want is the complete idiots guide to Hosting a Team match on a Bookable server.

For example: - Server is booked for 2 hrs. When I booked it - It asked me to choose Player Password & Rcon Password.
I choose Player Pass 12345
Rcon Pass ABC
--------------------------------
In the Multi play room - I select connect to server. I type I.P. address in at the multi play room for example 213.213.213.213:2134

I then bring down console & enter Password 12345 [Enter] close console & connect to the server - So far so good
---------Now this is the bit I need an idiots guide to--------------
(the game I want to set up is - "The Bridge & V2 objective - 5 v 5 - First to 10 on each round" (we both play as allies an axis)

Players are slowly arriving & as per usual a few are messing about shooting etc .... The score is 4 - 2 to axis so far & the game has not yet started.

As soon as all the players have arrived - The game is to start.

At this point -
I bring the console down + type what exactley??

Am I meant to have set the settings before?? If so how?
Will I be able to restart the game with scores as they are? - etc..

So please in basic terms tell me how to set up the console to allow me to set up a game as above.

I'm going to display my ignorance for all to see...somewhat ironic considering my job here

To enter the rcon password type:

rconPassword ABC

to change map I assume the command is

map mapname

but then I've never had cause to change the map so I could be speaking nonsense. As for setting the gamemode, I believe someone answered that a while back, I'll root around and see what I can see.

lo yep correct about the password bit once you have done that to change a map you need to do the following:-

rcon map obj/obj_team4

or

rcon map dm/dmmoh4

depending on what game type your running.

Ok thanks for the help so far.

I understand some of it.

When I make a BArrys Booking -

do I need to mess with any of the advanced settings?

Or can I control everything from the rcon?

I tried to operate a booked server earlier today with nothing but disaster...


I kept getting bad rcon pass - yet it was correct...
I reset server from Barrys and it seem to work fine then,
but - the map then changed after 3 rounds...

Then console wouldn't restart..

Basically all I want to do is set a game up as follows

5 v 5 first to 10 then swap sides

So I enter game

bring console down -

Type

rconpassword abc
rcon timelimit 25 (enuff time to play 10 rounds)
rcon map obj/obj_team4 (bridge)
rcon say"Hi all - ready to start after 3 restarts"
rcon restart
rcon restart
rcon restart

(close Console)

Yes? - am I on the right lines?
