Ideal Mid RvR Group?

Not sure if there is such a thing, but I would like to see some peoples views of what they think the ideal RvR 1fg setup would be. And I dont mean just for open RvR, but for use with keep takes/defence also.

Mine currently is ...

Healer (MAP 27/27/38) - CC, 4pt power regen, reasonable healing and some resists/haste buffs.
Shaman (MAC 12/38/36) - Good buffs, 4pt end regen, good DoT damage and roots for backup CC.
Runemaster (Supp 26/RC 47) - 10s PBT, 45% nearsight, decent nuke damage output, GTAOE for keep take/defence.
Skald - Speed, DPS chant, help get in amongst and drop enemy casters.
Spiritmaster (Dark 22/Supp 49) - Best PBAOE DD, 2nd best mezz, PBAOE mezz.
Thane (42 Shield/48 SC) - Protect casters, AOE and single DDs for ranged attack.
Berserker - Drop enemy casters quick, man rams on doors.
Warrior - Drop enemy, provide guard for Berserker, man rams on doors.

Of course all would need Long Wind 1 to ensure perma sprint when hunting.

Edit - Correct the error in the shaman spec I mentioned ;)

Tried this before, seeing 3 zerkers with celerity and end regen is just gob smacking

Maybe, but just maybe, switch the suppr runie for another zerk. He wont last long against a decent grp.

i think this grp can help more at keep defence then poons tank heavy grp. but then again getting rams for keeptaking might be a smallproblem ;) open RvR, havent meet a mid zerker gankteam so i cant say who they would do, but i guess pretty good. this grp needs too have a good healer that can CC properly. then open rvr is real fun =))

just my 2 cents (european version)

But really nothing beats hib support with
dr00d-warden-bard combo so its much better to balance teams with 2 fgs mixing hamsters and exploding kobolds.

Yep, this works as well. Until you meet group purge at least :)

The reason youd have the supp rm is to give defence vs slam, its pretty much the only thing that can stop a grp like this as all the zerkers if they have sence will have det 3 and purge anyway.

realy fun group


And the zerker/warrior groups, realy useful at keep defence specialy when they stand on battlements and draw ae nukes, dots over us hunters that try to do our work.

I hear Enchaters RA will be fixed. 15 sek immun to magik - terrible: no spell dmg, no mezz, no root - nothing...

now

its much better to balance teams with 2 fgs mixing hamsters and exploding kobolds.

4PBAE+Pac Healer +Skald +PBT RM
3 Zerks + Pac Healer+Aug Healer+Shaman+Skald +PBT RM.
And once per 10 min give Shaman/Aug healer to PBAE group.


P.S. btw problem only with LA. They have realy high ressist. And always warden in group, and Enchanter :D

why the healer?
the gimps from hibernia or the albzerg will not see more then the thunder coming from the sky while they are beeing smashed to death by the hammers of THOR!!!!!!

Have been in heavy melee groups before and they have worked very well at times, sb's can be nice in groups aswell imo, but alot of people expect them to solo.

5 Heroes, 1 warden,1 dr00d, 1 bard will kill the zerk grp. Why? Because of GP, warden scale (compared to supp rm cloth) and hero slam, 2h capabilites and m00se.

Warden druid + bard will last about 10 seconds vs a zerk grp on celerity maybe less.

Considering youll have 3 people hitting on one person at a 1.5 sec swing speed, could probley do 2k dmg before even a stacked bubble pulses.

You just need a special runie with 6s pbt and a special pretty healer to own ;)

WHY DONT HAVE THANES TO GUARD THE THANES?
CUZ WE IS TEH LEET WITH THE BLCOK!
