ATI or NIVIDA? The battle rages, as the two graphic card manufacturers go head to head offering us the latest hardware to play DOOM 3 and Half-Life 2 on their full settings. The question is which to go for?

id Software have done a detailed test here, including all the stats you could possibly need.

Another problem I can see is where to buy the cards and how much they are going to cost. Surely if there's a £30 price difference between the top range ATI card compared to NIVIDA's it would be better to go for NIVIDA's offering? Even if the ATI proves more power for your money. After all DOOM 3 is just a game? (or is it?)
