heh I'm prolly going through Aalborg on my way up and down. If you think it's a good place to crash for the night let me know, because we're still undecided on what ferry to take. Currently I have an email out to a hostel in Kristiansand to ask if my mate and I can check in after midnight (if we take the late ferry) or otherwise we take the earlier one and go straight to Oslo to meet a friend.

Well Aalborg is a lovely city with a really nice nightlife(Jomfru ane gade; a street with only disco and bars) and a central city for whatever place you chose to sail from(Frederikshavn or Hirtshals?). My GF works at the tourist information, Visit Aalborg - so let me know if you want her e-mail for more informations about the northern area of Denmark.
