First it's their banks folding aiding economic meltdown (a number of UK local councils had money invested in them as well as private investors) and now their tectonic activity is jabbing us in the nuts.

They have no standing army, so they find clever other ways to attack. Gadzooks Iceland we surrender! Or what will it be next? Another fantastic Eurovision entry?? :p

St Elmo's fire has always interested me. Looks pretty awesome, albeit devastating at the sametime.

I remember watching an episode of Aircrash Investigation on National Geographic ages ago, where volcanic ash caused mayhem with a British Airways flight in Indonesia.

BBC News - When volcanic ash stopped a Jumbo at 37,000ft

Friend of mine who´s now working in Iceland just changed his FB status to:

There is no C in the Icelandic alphabet, so when you ask for Cash, all you get is Ash.

News just in.
Living in Europe right now is the equivalent of smoking 60,000
cigarettes a day.

Ha all this melting glacier bollocks and the earth just goes

'Melt in a hundred years? I can do it overnight!'

I never said I hated Iceland! I would quite like to visit there tbh, seems an awesome place. Being taken out of context on FH, who would have thought it? ;)

Like i said in general, sayign "i hate iceland" is apt because that's where the volcano is :p

What else can you hate? The magma?

That's what I meant, no sarcasm involved! Iceland are slowly invading (hearts and minds tactics methinks.)

I wasn't even quoting you in my reply, so why are you getting involved Toht? Gray said 'This guy feels the same way apparently' - now if he was referring to me I never said anything of the sort that I hate Iceland. Some random Scottish knobhead isn't my view. Hating magma? What are you on? I'll take this as another comment of yours I've taken out of context because you've expressed it poorly.

And I'm not reading this in general section, I have a hard enough time reading your OT stuff. How is it apt so say <a person> hates Iceland because there's a volcano screwing things up there?

I should know better than responding but hey, I had a couple of minutes to chuckle.

Umm...take things too personal AND serious do we? "Oh no He quoted me! He must be against my views and all!"

I quoted you because you were the last person in that train of discussion(part of the thread), i wasn't claiming you did/said anything.

The apt part comes from, volcano is in iceland, hate volcano, hate iceland. You don't have to hate the people, the country and the part of world are different. Ergo, apt. It was also meant as a lighthearted comment.

But hey, great that you get on the offensive just because it's me saying it *clap clap* Well done. Christ ...

You choose what you consider light hearted when it suits. Your logic also seems broken. You have just said:

The apt part comes from, volcano is in iceland, hate volcano, hate iceland. You don't have to hate the people, the country and the part of world are different. Ergo, apt.

There's a volcano in Iceland so you hate (not you ofc but the speaker) Iceland? Then say you don't have to hate the people etc.? I assume you understand the word apt? You're applying the synonym incorrectly.

Once again you walk into a thread to cause bother and erupt with some crap about hating magma. We'll leave it there, time better spent elsewhere etc.

Actualy i've done no such thing, you on the other hand...tangent, off, weeee!

Country and part of the globe are different subjects. The land mass, you can hate without hating the country(the people under the flag). It is apt to hate iceland(the geological area) for the volcano and it doesn't mean you hate Iceland(the people and country)

Now that will be the last answer to you, just to avoid your trolling taking it into a bad place.
