Not sure if anyone said this already cause i couldnt be fucked to read page 2, but at some point thet are going to have to introduce some sort of instant video playback as they do in other sports. I know full well the game couldnt keep starting and stopping while things get checked, but this service should be installed and used for serious incidents.
When refs fuck up in football games, people say "ah they are only human", of course this is true, but in something as serious the world cup there should be safe gaurds to ensure that human error does not play a part in putting a country out of the runnings.
I cant think of any situations off hand right now because im at work and being hassled on the phone, but what do other people think of this idea? Surely it would be a good idea to install some sort of serious incident service where an independant ref who can see the whole game on camera (not unlike the millions of people around the world?) and can make a fully informed choice about what is correct action for a situation.
I've gotta get back to work.
Dime (old.dimebag? is this something to do with the forum update thing?)
