It's just 17 days to go until the i8 LAN party, the latest in the very popular "i-series" of LAN parties from Multiplay UK. It's being held over 24-27 August in the luxurious Newbury racecourse venue. There are 840 spaces in total, and still time to get in on the action.
In association with Telewest's Blueyonder broadband service, i8 will be the only qualifier for the Blueyonder Quake 3 1v1 tournament, which has a prize purse of £2,500.
i8 is also a prequalifier for the 1st World Cyber Games final in the UK. As if this wasn't enough, i8 is set to host the WCG starcraft tournament in the UK, with a prize purse of over £7,000.
