It's now 7 weeks to go until 750 avid gamers descend upon Newbury racecourse for 4 days of solid LAN partying. i5 is the continuation in the hugely successful i-series LAN party events from Multiplay UK, being held in the very plush racecourse venue over the August bank holiday weekend (25-28 August). In association with Gameplay.com and IBM, i5 is set to be the largest LAN party to date in the UK, beating our previous record of 460 (at i3 in March) by a mile.
The event will feature tournaments galore, with the usual plethora being provided by our red-shrit team including all the main games. Far2Cool.com, the organisers of the UKTFCL and ECSL, are teaming up with us to deliver some high-profile TFC and CS tournaments at the event as well, so the atmosphere is going to be buzzing!
Our high-speed network will again be providing connections in excess of 1000 times that of 56k modems, meaning you can kiss goodbye to the lag of the internet and enjoy playing multiplayer games just how they should be!
