I wish rvr went back to SI days, where you'd actually see fg's running about in hw and odin's every day at every hour...at least it wouldnt be obvious to bump into several fg's stuck trying to steamroll fgs :<

Not that zergs didnt happen back then, but tri division of 3 realms and 3 zones sure helped minimize the effects :<

And if you knew anything at all of what happens past amg (which I highly doubt), Im mentioning the fact that hardly any rvr goes in hw or odin's. Everyone comes here complaining about "omg omg 3 fgs whatever in emain"...no wonder, everyone is rp horny and shags emain to the bone.
Back in SI days whenever you went HW or odin's you'd always run into other groups and it'd be mostly 1fg vs fg, with exceptions of course.

Also, get a clue. No such thing as "fg vs fg" server, oh and also, out of all european servers, prydwen is possibly the most "fg vs fg" instead of "realm zerging one", so I guess you should try another server if you're so keen on zerging :>

Every day every hour in HW / Odin's pre-TOA? Heh, oh the frustration of changing frontier and then find nothing. It wasn't that rosy back then either tbh.

I don't go to Emain really. Hate the place. People running in the same circle day in day out at MACH 6 or several hours camped at a PK because you either want to balance a group or are playing a class that isn't group optimal then you accept an invite and find you're with seven shiny epic wearing paladins that wanted an ice wiz to fill group but got fed up waiting.

(Given the PvE mentality of most these days I'm surprised you don't get people trying to make RvR groups out of a paladin, cleric, 2 ice wizzies, and 4 leeches... or maybe you do )

I'm usually in Alb somewhere or Mid. Not really fair to say HW or Odins as I rarely stay in those zones. I'm quite happy to run with 2, 8,16 or 100 people.
As Roo I'd run solo. I only run solo as Elim if I'm checking keeps. His spec is extremely weak for 1v1 and only any good in a group or larger scale fight. Duo with Theurg its evil.

Variation is key, not rigidly sticking to one style.

I like Mid frontier the best though, always have.

Takes longer to find a fight, granted. The fights are usually more fun as you tend to find like-minded people from the other realms that aren't out just looking to increase their score card, but a bit of fun and the people that do the more varied RvR tend to whine about things less. Hey we got steamrollered! Lol! Go back and get 'em. Raar. (Unless its wildly uneven of course. That happens too, you just have to shrug and leave it for the moment).

The 8v8 mentality makes me smile. To listen to some, you'd think it was the only way to RvR.

RvR is whatever you want to play, however you want to play it and respect others' rights to do the same.

Roll on NF asap as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully will give RvR a much needed kick up the bum and bring back people who got sick of being wiped out in 10 seconds
