Looks like a poor mans healer having just looked at what sorcs can spec :/ Very nice for pvm I would think but all u can seemingly do in rvr is bolt and AE mez/debuff.

Aye theres a reson the sorc is "unpopular".
The primary being they are in cloth and spend their majority rvr time taking dirt naps. It's just too easy for a critblade to take them out with 1shot whereas the bard or healer can take some punishment.
Sigh, I know i'll probably be called a whiner for this but i always thought albion was left slightly behind in the rvr game - atleast on a few key areas 1 of them being CC.

firstly is the think that PISSES ME OFF THE MOST!!! is taht a blue con mezz just you and runs of to battle u see all your albs running after em and fighting and ur just twiddling you thumbs for about 2 minutes 
another thing since getting hit unmezzes you. why cant we just slap each other???!?!?!? all we would have to do is push you fellow buddy to unmezz um wats that all about?
but for a more realistic thing for the game is that healers should all get a unmezz spell if they spec healing. As they are called healed they should cure things and aid people.
i think all tanks should get a shove move that unmezzes people

and somehow I always tend to die before getting any rp's "
The flip side is ...
I was in Emain tonight with a group of no less than 10 Hibs ... One each of the 5 journeys between 3-8 Mids get mezzed, we still died ... why? Tactics! Mids were smart enough not to stand close together and also to take out the mezzers before going into battles (thanks Blood). Also, even if a mezzer does get off a successful AE mezz chances are that some will be resisted and the others will be broken. Sure, my mezzes last 1 minute, but I've never seen them last that long ins RvR due to PBAoE's and franctic tanks hitting anything and everything at once.

about the mg mezz, we were a little dumb there forgetting there is a super powerfull spell called mezz
hmm I think im gonna lv up a sorc and go around and mezz people and then leave them standing just becuse its annoying =)

I remember being mezed by a 45 or so minstrel on the zone wall heading to odins for about 40 secs while the git sat there waiting for his stun and dds to come back on timer again Cant remember the name of the guy but I almost got him by using insta cast lighting as soon as the mez ran out then meleed him to 20% hp b4 he got his instas back and killed me. Really annoying :/

If there was no mez I would cry for days.
Right now the only reason it`s "overpowered" is because people are kind enough to skip around in nice, tightly packed groups just ripe for an AoE mez.
If you run spread out, or in two smaller groups for example, you can avoid some nasty side-effects. (as some deliquents have taken to doing....)

Mez is a very powerful weapon right now. A single healer can hold of an army on his own. But things will change, nerfs are coming and with the next patch I believe resistance to mez is increased quite a bit. Realm abilities will make healers cry, the suggested heal-breaks-mezz will make healers useless... It's not like we can melee a yellow con tank without our instas working...

You are very right here. But the incoming nerfs will drive us to seek RvR groups even more desperately. What good is a mezzed army if you can't even damage it?
This class ain't for you RP farmers.
