Yep,

I had a splurge! (for those of you not aquainted with the term it means to spend money...not like ooze fluid from an orifice or anything ok?

AS ye all know im off to uni (for a whole week rofl) once a year for the next three years and me not being the type to socialise will need something to do with myself, i do plan on taking books and stuff but i also like me telly occasionally (and tbh i cba with missing Dr Who) so i spent £99.99 (inc p&p and insurance) on a little 7inch television that comes with a built in DVD player and freeview! also you can play games on it lol
woohoo!!

the thing is its being delivered today, which is ace but i kinda wanted to go to the shop and get my giant cookie for when i watch desperate housewives and now im trapped in "awaiting delivery" mode :(

Aaaargh!

I've bought a house...

Or rather, will buy. Waiting for a call from the notary to make an appointment for the final autographs and transferral of deed and keys :)
Was planned this week, but probably somewhere next week...

You know you're in OT when you have to disclaimer everything to avoid sexual references and innuendo :)

I splurged on a Grill pan. not gonna tell ya how much, but
more than i should have. but godnabit it's worth it when them steaks, chops n' fishies come off the pan.

ofc it'll never beat a real grill, but not owning a gas grill, well....
and we live in an appartment,so gotta go down to the lawn to grill.
and no fun grilling in rain either, or comming home late and exuasted,
so often it comes in handy

Best of luck mate... buying a house is apparently rather complex. My brother just did the same thing and never in my life have I seen so much paper work.

Wimp !

You should have bent her over the counter, serviced her, then demanded £400 worth of DVD's for payment

Well, to be honest, the problem isn't that it's extremely much paperwork, I mean, my thesis paper was bigger, but it's the language contained in it.... It's absolutely unreadable :p

Too much lawyer-talk to comprehend everything, but I managed to wrestle my way through :)

I didn't have that much paperwork when I bought my house. Thankfully.

Would love a seaside house though, with mountains in the backland where ye can snowboard and stuff, but too bad, it's eastern Netherlands, so, no mountains, nor sea :p
