I noticed some of the zone names are in French

Oke, I'm sorry if this has been noticed and/or posted before but I'm rather new to the Prydwen server... But, I noticed some of the zone names are in French and last night to my shock and horror I saw The Forces of Albion have captured such-and-such as "Les forces d'Albion ont capture....(I suck at ze french)"

Is this normal on mid Pryd or could it be my installation of the game ? Did anyone else notice this ?

I noticed a wierd text in french last night... some nice dude on /as translated it inot the 7th relic is now unlocked or something like that ... my first french lession on pryd for 4+ years

Hmm. This might have something to do with which client version you are using. Playing on a German server with the English client means that all client-side messages are in English, whereas server-side messages are in German. That means /who returns the German names of zones, but /loc gives me the English name (among other things). The division can be subtle.

Are you by any chance using a French client?

Its not related to the client. I am using an english client only. Last night in alb near Bold i saw a french message as well. I think they re-used some scripts from the french cluster to cluster the english servers and maybe forgot to change a line or so.

most the french broads recently seem to have been associated with heart of agramon or when it is moved from keep to keep, not seen any capture texts in french yet tho :>

My quest items from the agramon quest also had their names translated into French. I bet it's just some bug that slipped through security checks - maybe they'll take down servers for a few days to fix it
