I wouldn't recommend raid 0 if you only got 1 machine tbh... if you got a dedicated games machine with nowt but games on then raid0 rox.

As in, hmm, I want lots of disks and want to lose everything if any of them breaks ?

Get lots of disks and go Raid 5, that way you get nearly as much space, the same speed, and more security (need to lose 2 disks). Sad that the controllers are more pricy, though.

Are you certain the disks are the problem? The main problems I've come across is the bios defaults resetting and making it look like the volume has been lost. More often than not flashing with the latest version cures the problem... imo

My problem is getting solved while i type this dl 100gb in 4 days \o/

so now i can just chat and do this
