Coming home from work on my bike (fixed, i.e. no gears, no freewheel) with a strong tailwind, I managed to hit 37mph. On a long flat straight. Overtaking cars, legs going like a nutter.

So awesome, it more than makes up for the headwind on the way to work. I'm grinning from ear to ear with the rush, I just had to share.

I got a Langster to replace the singlespeed I broke. Fixed is great fun, though I now struggle to ride a freewheel bike, I seem to have a dead spot in my pedal stroke at 12/6.

Unicycles are mad. And I'm poor, I've just built up a new singlespeed for offroad, a unicycle is a wee way off.

Went out today and did my usual 20 mile ride, 115 minutes it took (thats about 20 minutes more than usual), those 20 minutes were lost slogging my way through the mud and shit everywhere I almost went sideways a few times as well, add to that the bastard sun shining in my eyes as I cycled the western part of my route, all 10 miles of it
