The thing is, I see the same level of stupidity on my facebook feed everyday.

From people installing apps that are blatantly dodgy, to joining groups protesting against things that are not happening, to status updates about peados, or god, or some other made up shit.

i love everyone joining the group about facebook charging. Ive become bored explaining to them that thats a hoax going round for years and its nothing new. I wish people were as cynical as me, or at least just checked things with a quick google.

At least once a week at work someone sends one of those "OH MY GOD VIRUS ALERT!!!!!!!!" emails to the whole company and i have to send one after saying dont worry its a hoax, just ignore it. I've left it before and people actually go mad with paranoia

The best one recently was a status update about some group for new parents, warning people that it was a ruse made up by peados. That really made my piss boil, made some comments and the person that posted it said "well I'm not accusing anyone, I just copied the status"
