How do I update the drivers for it?

How about you go to the manufacturers website and see what they have for download.

LoL, I got one of them in my pc upstairs. It's 5 years old, and about 6 months old when we bought it

But try the ATI site... you might get lucky

This is a 4MB gfx card (think it can be upped to 8mb) ATI will still have drivers for it, but you are going to need a new gfx card. Try www.dabs.com. Plus remember that a gf4 mx will cost you £50 and a gf4 ti 4200 about £100-£130 - this is because an mx card is extreme budget - it is not a 4th gen card. the ti 4200 is the budget gf4 card - will run anything: mx wont run SI WITH shadows, water but will run SI without them.

get a Geforce 3TI they're 60 quid and WILL do the shadows.

I'm not sure if they're as fast as the 4MX?

they're faster. the whole MX serie is utter poo if you ask me.
but then again, I never had to budget on graphics cards, so I'm biased

Well if its true that an Geforce4 MX420 cant run SI with water and shadow effects.... then I just have to bye a new card i guess.

No going out in next month i guess.
