I have no sound.. :(

So last night all my sound suddenly went, but I wasn't at the computer when it happened.. YES it's proper plugged in

I am not getting any errors and everything seems to be set to On and the volume is turned up to a max..

Neither my headphones nor my speakers are working in either the backside or the frontside slots!

Anyone got any ideas what this might be?

The real problem is that I think my soundcard is on the motherboard which sux major ass as it needs to be replaced? Correct me if I'm wrong.. Hardware is not my strong side

You can fit another sound card in the expansion slots, you can disable the onboard sound through the bios.
