Well I have liked Trance since the early 90's (94/95) when it first started to appear. I don't "really" do drugs when I go out clubbing, the music is enough to get me "high"
done them before ofc but I dont really do anything now.
I missed the "rave" era by a few years, the death of the super club by a year or so. I litrally have spent £1000's on music so feel quite passionitly about what I like..Music to some is something you listen to on the way to work in the car, to other people its a lifestyle.
All the latest songs I couldn't fit on that site (Due to the fact I buy lots of mp3's at 320kbps) BUt the genre has changed over the last few years (Got a tougher sound now) I'm talking the main stream Trance (and no not what you can buy in the shops) but the popular stuff in the community has a harder sounding edge. It does change but you need to be in the community and understand the shit thats coming out (to me all this r&b shit sounds the same
)
Trance isn't about popping pills and getting mashed in a dark sweaty room (Although thats where the roots lie) its about feeling the music, following the emotions of the melodys. It captures that feeling more than any other music does for me. It just gets to me that due to the commercial dilution of the genre for the masses back in 01/02 everyone thinks they are a fucking expert because they heard DJ Sammy in a club when they were drinking smirnoff ice.
But alas I fear I have gone off-topic with the original kitty kitty mine mine post
