The other evening I was out in Emain, it was the usual crappy stuff, when you finally found someone alone about 5 stealthers popped on you. Solution ? Well stay at milegates and add on groupfights.
I had at one point...amazingly enough...made it to mmg, and watched some hib and mids fight it out, I had a fun time dancing with a hib ranger just after the fight, only mids around so I chose not to take off his stealth, instead i stuck him...Anyways ! At some point i noticed a spiritmaster about to run back through mmg I tried to PA him but as usual i fooked it up somehow, I quickly ran back through doors to hib side mmg and tried to hide but the darn pet was on me, so I had to leg it. Luckily the SM was just out of range but kept chasing me, then I think Paradox also joined in on the chase (I was starting to feel the pressure) I sprinted all I had learned used an end potion placed a poisen trap, and kept legging it. I headed towards DC grogans/stonevalley just keeping the SM at a distance, at this point Paradox seemed to have given up, (so a small cunning plan started to evolve in my evil mind). First i tried to find some aggro mobs and get them to aggro his pet, but only ones close I could find was cliff beetles, I finally managed to get one aggroed over him, at this point i used my 2nd end pot. Once the beetle started to harass him, I used the last of the 2nd end pot to sprint abit further away, then i stealthed and PAed his pet....Alas it resisted my my mezz on my weapon though it got debuffed by the str/con debuff and slowed it considerably, it seemed the pet was unbuffed !!!....
The SM had by this time mezzed the beetle or nuked it to death and he got dangerously close...he got some spells in i had to purge and use instant stealth and sprint out of distance again...
We continued down towards mill on DCX AMG road the pet was still slowed abit meaning he had to slow down so he didnt get to far infront....I then used a 3rd end pot, (as you can guess this "event" took ages) I then just ran over a hill so I was out of sight to him...down towards amg bowl... and stealthed again and turned...this time i finished off the pet with 2 fast strikes, the SM tried to nuke me, but i managed to interrupt him and kept doing the walky through thing and got him down...YEAH
Then i saw....he was worth NO RLM PTS...I think I cried for 10mins
