Just had one of the photo's I had on myspace removed because they say it violates their terms and conditions. The image was a statue of Anthony Gormley on Crosby beach, with a pair of shades on the statue in a frontal position. There hundreds of these statues on that beach. Kids see them all the time, I mean wtf ><

Because myspace allows me to store all my creative work on it for everyone to read. I can moderate it, design it to the way I want it and I don't have to talk to anyone or look for anyone either. It's there for my work to be seen and get a larger audience. Myspace from what i see has a number of uses, facebook has from what i've seen, limited use and it's no use at all to me.

Fact of the matter is, I have that much of it that you haven't seen, here isn't a good place for it and teedles would go nuts because of the amount of it there is. There is good spam, ie what you have just been saying and then my spam - my work, which gets an average of 3-400 views here. I only post my new stuff here

How is that possible? There are a number of images like that on myspace photos, and there's even a blog pointing to Antony Gormley's Another place with my poem on it.

Clearly they just didn't look properly and the same image is in my sig on myspace here

oh, don't misunderstand me. I have nothing against your picture. I know it's a statue, and even though you could technically claim it may be breaking the coc, I'd still allow it because it's not taking the piss (not a pun) if you know what I mean. imo they made a booboo and you should be able to contest it.

Personally my conclusions are :

1 The dood modding it is a f*g and clearly was over excited at the size of Gormley's c*ck.

or 2 He had penis envy in the member in question clearly made him uncomfortable about his manhood.

or 3 Clearly this guy/girl was born in 1900 and still gets all queasy about the human.

or 4 He/she had no idea about art
or 5 He/she just hated the piece and took offence to it.
or 6 He/she just didn't bother to read the piece, took exception to it and because he/she could decided to slap me with a threat of a ban...

I personally don't think that it is a good piece of art. But I appreciate the work put in on that scale of putting hundreds of those statues in on a beach on a one mile stretch. It's been on my beach since 2005 and it's been to a few other places - with the next place it's going to is New York.

I have contested it and if I have been offensive in this reply it's because I think it is entirely right to so. Obviously I didn't use words like this in my email to contest it..
