I thought someone discovered that somthing not completely unlike Lasange had also been invented by some British blokey in nobility times?

One of the news programmes (prolly 6 o clock) reported it a while back but I never heard if it was "proven" afterwards...

Well, tomatoes come from the "New World", so any date before 1492 wont have proper bolognaise sauce in it.

Crusty bits are the best. Do prefer home made lasagne and warm it up the next day though
