I was watching this cracking story unfold live on Sky Sports News and found myself thinking "oooh. I may go down to County a few times this season".

Then I checked and slapped myself for even alluding to being a glory-hunting bastard, realising that the only reason I was excited is that I may finally get to see Liverpool visit Nottingham

But fair game Sven. It's a nice "bring it on" to the press, tough challenge and if he sticks to it and wins then he's gonna feel pretty chuffed with himself.

(Although mainly, I suspect, because his currently worthless shareholding will be worth in the tens of millions).

I was pretty shocked at that, I know the new owners were talking big, but I guess this really hammered home the point that they meant it. Might be tempted to make a trip or 2 to Meadow Lane this season, not really had that much interest in watching football for a while, but been following the team a bit even when my interest dropped.
