There is nothing on the official site to say they actually opend registration on time - maybe they are delayed?

From goa at 8:30

We have encountered some slight technical difficulties and so it has been necessary to delay the launch by one hour. The servers will therefore be opening at 9am CET. The account creation pages and code validation system will be opened at the same time.

We are sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience.

Why are you all so eager to enter your keys when there is a cool off period for Headstart users?

You don't need to enter them until next week i think, am playing the game not thinking about entering my sodding key.

Just a little longer now guys. We're straightening out a minor issue but we're on top of the situation. All systems are good to go and we're basically caressing the big 'ON' button.

Is it normal, for the "Logon Panel" on the main website to be greyed out so i cant sign in ?
And would that be releated to the fact everytime i try to log into the game patcher, it telle me "Authentication failed. Please re-enter you login credentials" But, i know what i entered is right.

Dunno if they're related, but they're working on the second one.

If you already have an account, you just need to click on the "Code" item in the left hand menu. =)

Molesting the ON button button is not part of the Warhammer experience :p

The registration is defacto disabled at the moment. I understand "new and glorious path" as something totally different.

I've dropped a major German game magazine a mail for the editor in charge, I think we should drop some mails to EA too and also fire up the blogs.

This is beyond ridiculous. Who thinks that if they can't get a simple registration and authetification mechanism working they can keep the game of such scope running?

I'm starting to regret my decision (giving GOA a chance once again due to better latency and friends playing on EU-servers).

Maybe I'm being too negative, so let's hope this is just another "hiccup".

Just to point out the good move by GoA to allow the headstarters to bypass the key registration for now so the site is hammered by everyone and their dog...

The site itself may not be a work of art but GoA's thinking is on stright this past week, refunds of a beta which is techically free and not required, allowing existing players to register later yet still play...

Better still the CMs are working overtime to keep us up to date with whats going on and not left us in the dark..

Now can you name any other western MMO groups that have done this is launch week and not used a load of excuses to hold off the waves of complants?

Whereas we are open to criticism and have no problem admitting that we've made mistakes, your critique is in this case simply mis-informed. If you look at the menu to the left of our webpage, you will see that although the log in box is grayed out, account registration and code validation is online along with the help-form, should you have any problems with any of this.

Account Management is down today and will be back tomorrow, as we have announced for days.

i guess my question is answered cos i have a open beta account but i don't remember what info i put in there and now that i just come from the shops and purchase the game i dont know if to carry on my open beta account ( free 7 days ) or just reg a new account and loose the 7 extra free days.

can anyone confirm if i stick to my open beta key and when ever the Account Management is back and i manage to check if my details are correct do i still get the 30free that comes when u buy the game or u loose it cos u already been playing for 7 days.

Thanks

Won't it be a case of adding the retail key off of the book to your WAR EU account and you get the 30 days + 7 free?

As long as you remember the e-mail address, username and password for your OB account you can use that to register the retail key using the Code link on the left menu.
