Daughter was taken for observation a few mins after birth and so did me other half so we decided it was better if I went home to take care of the cats and the rest of the household instead since I shouldn't get to meet up with her for another few hours.

no offense taken ofc. since none of you knew why I was at home so early after the birth of my daughter.

Thanks a bunch everyone, it warms an old mans heart when I see all your nice replies.

Hm, i'm always sleepy when i sleep less than 9 hours continously, and by working 8 hours a day+traveling+fixing the things around the house+eating, etc. you should be really tired by the evening even without getting up at 3 am because princess wants to walk around a little... that shall make the man pretty sleepy imo.

Finally both girls are back home, now our new life will start for real and I'm so proud of em both. Sleep is overrated really, I'll adapt without problems and to be honest, I'll rather wake up to her screams/moans then to wake up and hear nothing at all from her. It's all good really, been waiting for this to happen a long time anyway so I couldn't be happier.
