Actually I'm looking for some easy-to-use video editing software. Something that will let me select and cut frames out of mpegs, add images maybe... nothing complicated. I've farted about with Windows Movie Maker and its seems okay but I was wondering if any of you peeps use something that's a little better.

yeah adobe premier is the daddy of this stuff - probably a little over the top for what u wanna do tho summo, one that i got with my old editing package which is cheap and cheerful was videowave. Not anywhere near blockbuster creating status but useful for chopping things up and inserting images and fades. good enough for beginners.

Had version 1.5 but did try version 4.0 and it had a nifty little slow motion feature built into it where it would analyse the frames before and after and kinda make it's own frame to stick between the 2, thus having more frames and giving the impression of proper slow motion.

kinda nifty, but kinda crap..
