Just returned from the dentist for a check up and polish+scrape. I did it, I went, I was close to leaving but I stayed!!

Booked in for the end of April to have a tooth removed under sedation

BUT I DID IT!!!*














*It may seem a small thing to most of you but I have an absolute terror of anything dentist related.

Last time I went to the dentist she started complaining to me about getting loads of virus emails. It's great trying to explain firewalls and spamfilters with a mouthfull of metal utensils and pipes.

ive never had sedation, last time i went to the dentists they injected the gum, after 5 mins they said can you feel this, my reply was yes although i suspect it was just my imagination. Anyway as a result they injected the gum again resulting in the entire side of my face going numb .

One dentist I visited demonstrated the power of the anesthetic by sticking a very sharp tooth implement directly into the gum and leaving it there, protruding from my mouth.

'HOW MUCH?' - 'if you don't like it, I'll take the fillings out for you'

Well apprently the dentist I saw doesn't do sedation(the practice does though), I said if you are going to do any work I need it, he said "I don't do it though". He soon changed his mind after he saw the look in my eyes "nurse go and ask about Mr Switzer having sedation for this extraction"

Mewehehehehe.
