Well I have had it now. There is no place in this game anymore for a player like me. Last couple of hours every fight I have had I have been added by newly pled scouts. And tbh I am sick of the zergs. let it be mids, albs or hibs.

So Grymligast is signing off now. The acc is still active though so probably will friends of mine play from time to time but it will not be me.

I refuse to join the "stealth zergs" so the only option I have atm unless I go odins or HW to camp for hours is to quit.

I will however play Virrfast until NF hits EU then we will see how it turns out.

Cheers to all the soloers out there and to all the ppl that can leave a good 1on1 fight alone until one is dead.

you solo so as per definition i like your playing style, hope you come back in NF

Sad to see another leaving Tis very hard to solo I only ever solo at either early hours of morning or late hours at night else I am grp'd as else its a waste of time.

Yes U got a nice BS in there and I was gonna use battler charge right after the stun but saw another 2 alb stealthers while stunned so I didnt bother.

Not to take away the fight nor the kill from u. I shoudnt have let u bs me in the first place and the kill was all yours but I am just showing how tired I am of this that as soon as I see 1 more I dont even bother using my tools anymore.

They were nice enough not adding considering u had the upper hand so they didnt try and "steal" your kill or RPs and maybe they woudnt have added even if I used battler and perhaps turned the fight.

Just that I am so used of getting adds that I dont use my tools anymore.

Some fights yesterday that got stuck in my mind.

Fight Mooomin at AMG bm. He uses IP I use Battler charge. Both on around 15% hp. Numerous albs pass us but dont add (well a necro cast 1 spell but then moved away instead of keep adding) but then ofc a RR1 scout comes running up the stairs and just have to start shooting.

Fight Mooomin again at mmg this time. I get PA in he stun me and I purge and land CD. The fight is a one sided one and a fg mids comes by. 7 of them stops but the 8:th just have to run in and swing away. Very unnecessary.

Fight Evita near Y-road between Amg and Silo. He FZes me and I use Battler. Both on low HP when a scout starts shooting me.

This is just some fights I had yesterday that were exacly the reason I play. To have close calls where noone can predict the end just to be ruined by adders.

I suspect that you will not like NF - depends in part on what patch we got.

And whilst tis is not quiet a leaving thread there were 3 others posted on Prydwin 'yesterday' from long time (2+ year) players. Less people will not make RvR any easier.

And Iknow that the words 'population is growing' are uttered but if so, despiye what the trend figures and historical data says - when will there be a new server.

I solo on my NS in odins all the time, and im only a luddle rr2 I rarely get adds (from hibs as well as albs,mids). When i do i port back and try again instead of making a horribly repeatitive post on FH. Remember it's just a game Have fun!

No Dwera, no Grymligast, aye indeed only Trakold which is a really tough fight. Grimwarm-bla bla is tough for me too if he has haste, spec-AF charge, and all 6 resist-buffs, and SoM..

Then again; with all that stuff up everyone is tough i guess

Ah, yeah. I saw another infil pop behind me just as I got that BS in. Was on my way to suicide, never really liked camping that place as you're bound to find more infils/sbs there..

I for one am hoping NF will ease up the stealth wars and give assassins more to do in and around keeps.

Damm its a shame your leaving had some very nice solo fights with you in the past Not going to be many solo SBs left now i think the only person who comes to mind is Trakold and a few others i meet solo around MMG area any way good luck and come back soon

sad to hear grymli, but cant say I dont understand - havent played my sb for ages for the same reasons - got a semi toa temp done etc., but cba to twink it completely (which is needed) - so I usually solo with skald instead - which is not that different, no stealth ofc, but speed sort of makes up for that.

anyways, its no different in terms of adds, and that you need to use all tools etc., with everything up I can kill just about everything, but I usually dont get very far from mpk before everything is down It can indeed be very annoying with everybody adding like mad (mids included) - personally I try to watch fight abit before extending a helping hand if needed, but standing around in same spot for too long can be very unhealthy, and I'd rather save fz, or instamezz for whatever I might meet next myself - but if I dont help at all I usually get a pm with wtf m8 etc. - not cool either

basically I guess you just need to expect adds at/near mgs, whether a fg or solo, or somewhere inbetween, but I am quite sure neither albs nor hibs have it any easier.

if you dont think its fun to play anymore then you are doing the right thing, but maybe just give it a little break and work up some patience again
