There were two animists at MMG.

I can produce 16 mushrooms maximum and I wasn't even shrooming during most of the fights tonight. If it felt like there were hordes of shrooms there, it's because we were placing them intelligently. Mainly the only times I used mine tonight were in the earlier fights where we had inc from both sides of the MG and I dropped stacks at the points I felt we might be vulnerable to try to hold enemies back rather than to do damage.

I enjoyed tonights RvR. The fights against the Middies were fun, although they out-performed us I think. The fights against the Albs generally started off fun then just went bleh when the numbers of Albs around got silly.

shockingly there were 70!!!!! Albs in hadrians at 10:45 when i logged in and only 55 in emain.....good stuff imo

Yes and against large numbers of attackers or attackers that stand out of range, they make little or no difference to a fight. If small numbers of people charge a large stack of shrooms without making any effort to avoid taking damage then ... yes they can hurt.

They day animists average more RPs than any Alb caster class except necro, then you can say our shrooms are winning fights for us. They win some fights, situationally, but it's relatively rare and depends heavily on the animist knowing what he's doing and the enemy acting rashly.
