hunter speccing bow now to 50?

Archers receive Penetrating Arrow based on their specialization in their particular Bow skill. They get Penetrating Arrow 1 at 30th spec, Penetrating Arrow 2 at 40th spec, and Penetrating Arrow 3 at 50th spec. Lower levels of PA do less damage by not fully penetrating the bladeturn. The highest level of PA does normal damage.

Should hunters now spec bow upto 50 to get 100% dmg through PA or is the lvl2 enough?
I will spec to 40 as I am lvl 46 and I cant change much in my spec AND I dont think speccing to 50 is worth sacrificing so much stealth or bc or spear (besides i got 44 spear so I cant change that anymore ). Just curious if this is how it will go into the patch should hunters get 50 bow or not?

Not going to 50 bow ever again, isnt worth the loads of speccpoints for the very little return you get.

Might go to 45 bow from 44 but i need to hear from usboards what the difference between rapid fire 1 and 2 is, or else i might lower bow to 40 and get spear to 44.

Im going for 40 Bow(PA lvl2), 44 Spear(chain on Stun style), 32 BS(insta pet), 35 Stealth(50 with the +rr and +SC armor)

wouldnt spec bow to 50 again even if I got 10 respec for free.
Total waste of points, and pbt and single target bt aint that hard to counter anyway with high quickness and some realm skills, just pop it and load up a critshot as number 2. Synced 6 sec pbt is a different story though, but not so common.

you cant pop BT's now though unless you got no penetrating arrow 1 (which means you got 34 or lower in bow ). PA is a passive ability which is always on (atleast that is how it works ATM).

Are you sure about that? If that is the case this is even worse nerf for some archers.
I hope it works so you penetrate the bubble and that person have to wait for next pulse before he get protection again.

And will Critical Shots be transformed to normal with penetrate if target have a bubble? ghaa. Archers stop whine , I dont want this crap

Anyway, common sence is to target the guy who provide pbt and hes bubble can not be penetrated anyway so my tactic still works, or will be adjusted to that atleast, only problem is the hibs with a bit 2 tough pbt dude.

penetrate arrow just means that if someone got a BT your arrow will go through it and do x% less damage than it normally would. He will still be interupted, but his bub wont pop (atm!!). Archers want to have it as a choice, but we have to see what mythic will do.
But yes versus 10 sec pbt PA might be not so good as you dont do 100% damage (unless you have 50 bow). However if you are firing at 3 secs and you do 75% damage with PAII(guessing..) and the bub pulse just arrived when you shot him. So without PA you can fire 3 arrows in the target before he gets a new bub. So that means you lost 75% of your damage. Just like you did with PAII and if the bub didnt arrive you would have done less damage and if you are firing slower your damage without PA would be less, but if you shot faster your damage would be greater. However vs faster pbt PA gets better. So for pure damage PA is better vs pbt than you could do atm. Even if you dont spec to 50 bow.
