If you get like this for one time, just because i disagree with you? Well...there's plenty of words for that. = Bitchy

But, let's just let it go and you can go on about your business ignoring people who don't agree with you 100% of the time = *Trying* to close the matter, but having a quick stab to provoke them.

Also the at the end does not mean you can say "oh i was joking" as it does not fit with the theme of the overall response.

Oh i'm not saying the post isn't spiteful, it is, it should show that i didn't really prefer the answer when taking a step towards common courtesy and mutual agreement.

I felt the stab at my posting style after the "i accept thx" bit was un-needed.

I'd like if people saw things, as they tell me to do, from my pov for a moment.

As i said, apologies mean a whole lot to me, if you've not noticed, i don't do it willynilly. So getting a "yeah thx, you're a dick" as a reply to it felt like a slap in the face.

In any case, if someone feels that they deserve an apology for something, i'm quite prepared to write a lenghty apology if it's due.

I may seem like argumentative, i may have had a snowballing(even if over-hyped) name here of picking the other side etc, but you can't say i'm not(very often) polite and fair.

Just seems like that it takes one, just ONE disagreement with issues(like with EQ) and i'm suddenly /ignore worthy. Otherwise people agree with me etc no worries.

Her post did not in anyway say "You're a dick" - she accepted your apology and just didn't want to 'hug' you. She stated it wasn't just this one disagreement, but that you do it with many argumentatively. Stop overeacting FFS and move on that you're on an /ignore list.

EQ answered, so i replied in kind.

I remember once having quite a debate with you on something - we didn't really fall out but we definitely argued strongly from different viewpoints. I even repped you although I disagreed with your views because it had been a good if, at times, heated discussion.

I don't feel I need to 'step back' and check that out because if people are fair and forthright I will respect them for it.

On that particular issue I didn't get rep back (which ofc I is fine because you never expect to get rep) but there was also no acknowledgement that it had been a good discourse from you, which disappointed me as you do often seem to like a good discussion.

I do wonder why so many claim to dislike you - what you cannot do ofc is be rude, agressive, unmoving and sometimes plainly shift the point to 'win' and then expect an apology to make it alright.

This forum isn't a popularity contest, if people as you infer in your 3.41 post, are viewing you as a forum pest and are prejudiced against you consider whether it is the actions/viewpoints/forum style of lots who have it wrong or one person who has it wrong. Very often it's the one that does.

I myself am not attempting to judge, just putting things in a reflective perspective.

Well thank you for your sentiments. I definitely agree with you that feelings can pass from one post or real life arena to another and I think that's why all of us from behind the keyboard build up a mental image or at least persona of someone's forum behaviour.

And it does take two to Tango - I doubt I'm the only one who starts to read a thread then after seeing it's two people trading blows then switches off thinking two not one person is raging on but others' perspectives on all other posts you/others have made always bare weight on whose argument they agree with.
