I doubt he kill'd him solo , with the amount of rp's he got from the kill.....

Maybe he was grouped...he certainly did enough damage to kill him solo.

I guess the reason Diab is that "cap is cap", i.e. theoretically you should do more dmg on mobs, but you are capped.

And ~~1000k on critshot and 500k on normal shots is normal for a scout I think. My scout critshots around 920 on hunters with 19% absorption. So no, he wasnt sitting.

sitting doesnt matter for archers... they nerfed that a long time ago I think

i was grpd with inf at that time and nother scout but neither of them shot/attacked mill, it was at a fight at mpk he got stunned by mincer (mincer got attacked by sb or hunter not 100% sure) so didnt dd'd or melee mill.

i was just wondering how it was possible to achieve that kind of dmg :O

Resists dont affect if your weaponskill is high enough and of course you had STR relics which reduce it further.

Its not the Absorb Buff! It was the AF buff! Without AF buff a caster has about the armor of a lvl 25. This is a guarantied kill for everyone, not only for archers. You will hit for cap damage even if the target has 99% resists.

str relics give melee bonus, does it affect bows?

My guess is its a bug, same thing happened to me in BG3.. First hit is a pretty normal hit, but on my 2. hit on the same person who did not loose any buffs (considering the few secs between the hits) got an incredible style bonus wich brings me to cap dmg.

Also on the first hit i get +dmg while on the 2. hit i get - dmg, now that shouldent change in 2-3 secs should it?

edit: no he dident sit down as he was trying to run away from me and were no necro in the area

And about topics, Mill did have resists cuz he absorbed 1/3 ur damage my guess is he used some grey/non armor

I think any clas could supa fast kill most other classes if they got a realm mate to stun the target for em ( except seer's that is )

I have ofen been shot by scouts for well in excess of 1k damage when running round as a BD, which has always made me check to see I have my af buffs up - always have had.

Fairytales imho... an archer will NEVER hit for cap damage on a lvl 50 caster with shields up and half decent armor. And since scouts can only exceed the 1k with a capped critshot you're either talking bullshit or you're a grey con.

People writing shit like that can really get me started!!!

A caster with shields up will have almost an equal AF to any 10% absorb armor wearer (605 is the cap for a caster <RR5 I think). My critshot cap is 938 and you will never find me hitting you for more than 600 with shields up. Nor will you ever find a scout hitting you for >1000 dmg with shields up.

Claiming that you have been hit for >1000 with shields up is a plain lie!
