i believe she hasnt been to the docs about it. i really think she needs to but i dont know how to go about saying all that to her :\

Tell her that you're worried about her, if she can't do it for herself, she'll do it for her son.

I think you should just tell her that she should go to the doctors about her cough.

Just say Mum, I think you should go to the doctors, I think you have a serious chest infection and the doctors might be able to treat it.

Don't say it in exactly that way but something like that, maybe while eating dinner?

hope that helps

tbh use the love guilt trip card like the man said "mum im really worried about you" at this point make a suitably concerned face, cry if you can do anything to get her to realise how worried yu are say you havent been able to sleep. I know its a shitty trick but you gotta do what you gotta do to get her to go man, explain how worried you are and maybe call NHS direct to get some advise from them on how to handle it (google them for the number)

g'luck bro

Depends what kind of person she is really. Some people will go to the Doctors the second they think anything's wrong with them, others won't admit they're ill for quite a while.

Generally the "I'm worried about you, mum, will you go and get checked out?" is the best approach to go with. You know your mum more than any of us do, so just say what you think is right.

Hope it's nothing serious, good luck :)
