how will new patch affect rvr?

posted patch notes to general discussion, but what i fast see,
relic guards!
agro range whit running guards are back :)
if want to darkness, door are at relickeep.
maybe more but 5 minute reading dont notice other important?.

and offcourse epic armour collecting start now, but unique style comes in 1.5 patch, so armours look like normal.

I belive a nice change is that you can no longer block the gatekeeper. Too get in a keep just have to get near the gate keeper and do /say enter or /say exit to leave.

This is vagually mentioned in the warcry patch notes but not the mystic ones i belive.

what way?
guards agro is shorter now what before 1.48 patch, 1.49 they move it back to longer radius.

relic guards. copy from patch note.


EXPLANATION OF FRONTIER GUARD CHANGES

To alleviate some of the confusion brought on by the guard changes in 1.49, here's an explanation of how the system works.

Each home Outpost (frontier keep), when "owned" by the home realm, controls a contingent of guards at each Relic Keep. For example, if the forces of Albion control the Albion Outpost Caer Benowyc, a number of guards representing Caer Benowyc will appear at the Relic Keeps in the Albion frontier. The number of "Relic Guards" these outposts spawns depends on the location of the outpost - the number is either 2,3, or 4 guards. These are referred to as "Outpost relic guards", and are distinguished from normal guards at the relics by being higher level and having the name of the "controlling" Outpost keep over their heads.

However, the actual number of "Outpost Relic Guards" at the relic keep is modified by two factors: Outposts owned and Relics owned.

Relics owned:

Outpost Relic Guards are reduced by 25% for every relic over 2 owned by a Realm.

3 relics owned = 75% frontier keep relic guards
4 relics owned = 50% frontier keep relic guards
5 relics owned = 25% frontier keep relic guards
6 relics owned = 0% frontier keep relic guards

Outposts Owned
When an Outpost is captured by the enemy, the guards it controls are not spawned at the relic keeps.


and last but not minority :)
if your realm have access to darkness, port to darkness is relic keeps! both keep!!, your realm keeps!


so relic keeps are heavier guarded what before, if realm has all own keeps.
no more easy/succesfull relicraids whit/under 40 peeps.

I dont think we'll see as many people in emain anymore since most lvl 50 will be down in the darkness

Relics will be harder to take(master wizards helping defending them now :) )
Keeps will change hands alot( asend- Lets go kill legion....take back DC )
emain will still be full (DF is only open to 1 side and isn't really a good rvr place to be honest...once u kill them they don't come back)

but agree, if dont know where pointing that WTF, dont understand etc etc, believe he/she dont understand at all what i write.
most feel sad for my guild when spamming there :)

if not understand what i write, ask, and i try explain again.
if still not understand?
there is allways change i write whit my motherlanguage.
there is still places in world where english is not nro 1 language.

rvr has become great in DF, 2 groups of GoP were at hulks when we heard the mids were in the room above us... crap we thought, time to die. so we waited around the corner out of sight to see if any wandering monkeys came down the agro path of doom.

suddenly we see a blue troll with a red cape, and he pulls 3 chaotic knights, so we all charge uphill, to find a medium size of mids who kill without loss, when then go into the next room to find a troll trying to hid behind a pillar (funniest thing ive seen ever) whole dies, and then we see another group of mids, so back down the passage we go, then we hear someone shouting "albs albs" so we run back up there to find sotl have run in from behind and are killing them all. was a good night of rvr, and i netted over 3K from just 2 battles.

omg, we used tactics!

Must admit I had a brilliant time in DF last night. The mobs were a bit slow to spawn, but the rvr was actually really good fun. It is a shame that the albs didnt log a healer or something and all had to go back home :(
I am sure we will all sort out how to do things a bit better :)
