How To Set Up Console?

after going and buying the HL generations box set with counterstrike included, how can i get the console?
I cant do nothing without console, vote etc...

In your shortcut to launch cs add the line -console in the target box.

Add the line

bind "`" "toggleconsole"

to your config.cfg file in your cs directory.

Make sure youve got
console "1"
in your config. Dunno why, but mine seems to dissapear every now and then.

yep that too, forgot about that

like doing cl_latency dissapears after u put it into the cfg although it still effects the game when it dissapears.

config newbies.

Always write protect your config.cfg in your cs directory after modifying it, copy it and paste it over the one in your valve directory.

NOw no matter what only the one in your valve directory will change, but afaik this config will only be used if u launch HL then change game to CS.
