The DJ line up was fucking great, the music and ambiance was awesome. We had a few drinks and danced our asses off.

Till like in 15 minutes time a mate went from tipsy to shitfaced and started to be very fucking irritating. Started to talk to random people for no reason, threw a bottle of water in the croud and kicked a guy for dancing a bit with his gf.

All this during my favourite dj Ferry Corsten. I started to get more pissed off at him and I couldn't believe he fucked up the one party I was looking forward too, so I grabbed him by the neck and dragged him outside and told him the party is over.

Any of you had your evening ruined by a friend?

and yeh, the first new years i spent at home was ruined by my friend being a total cock to his girl friend. her being a good friend of mine (more so than he was at the time) i had to leave the club and take her home because she was crying etc.

on a serious note though, its happend to me at least once that i remember. i hadnt drunk that much (can guarantee that) one minute i was fine, the next i was uncontrollably dizzy, totally spaced out and in general a total fuckin wreck. i probably looked like a little kid who had a shandy too many. woke up the next day with vomit all over my bed :\

My friends and i, yes i have friends! , have an understanding. If person A gets sh*tfaced and starts to act like a moron, but is in no "suicidal" or "dangerous" mood, it's a casualty of war.

We move, leave him/her to the antics, and if he/her comes back later in a better set of mind, we ask no questions and the party continues.

I've been a casualty of war and it's completely understandable. If you're ruining the night for others, sober up, clean up your act, or go solo the rest of the night. This way all still have fun. The COW doesn't care either way at that point.

I see too many people who start acting like 14 year olds just because they have drank a few too many WKDs or whatever it is the lightweights drink.

Completely agree - imo people who act like utter twats while drunk have only themselves to blame.

I myself know I'm not a heavy drinker, so I make sure I either take it easy on the drink and let the heavyweights do thier thing, or I get hammered but keep control of myself.

Having fun is fine, things get a bit crazy sometimes, but its all good fun - acting like a moron and pissing people off is just not on imo.
