I think setup is one of the most important things at least vs that grp.

I'd prefer to run more tank heavy but then you have to leave friends out and dont have the class's needed to the desired setup.

Mael/groove when not running 2 bds are beatable imo or at least for the setup we run (mix & match), still a great grp etc. but we struggle with the setup we try to run.

if we run 2 mercs and friar, its ok for end buff, but vs long fights. I just go OOE and cant use pots cos of timer.

Really need to change our setup but since people are not really overkeen on playing anymore. no-one cba to roll new chars etc

+ have different people playing every day recently, so never get used to same players.

Alb is just a pain in the arse atm

But it still for me boils down to mid being easy mode, and lack of any real competition. You could prolly run any setup u want providing you got the backbone classes and do good on this server..

these guys are good really good. You play against them and they are all over you like a rash. You might get a few interrupts in but bang they are onto you in seconds. Thats the difference. All the good groups respond to you faster than you can respond to them. Summer group and Mael are both top of the game at the moment - some of us are trying hard to give them a better run at it.

thing is we dont have players to wield a different setup, if we dont run 2 zerkers we have blazeh(slewtbossen) and/or haj(m8), but both play camlann or hib/cluster so cant get any other players, we havent played for 6 days or so now because no players to field a group

but ye, we could prolly fit in a thane and/or a valk or something other wicked and still roll all over, due to our rr's/teamplay/experience

Its a pity you can't get others to follow and get groups together though because the server needs more Mids and Albs out all round.

Looking forward to seeing this when I get home and to try and figure where I am going wrong.

p.s. some of us have even considered starting a group there to try and balance things out.

I think tbh vrs any good mid grup you need a good alb caster group that uses it's utility.

Which is what we run, though only cleric cleric sorc cabby has remained the same people since TT reformed a couple of months ago, so it's just about getting the rest fixed properly and then trying to compete with a group which has better teamplay already and a gay setup (it is, but its not your fault) when you have fresh people in a fresh group... I imagine you can at least understand why the setup got the whine that it did.
Given a few months of work if/when we sort our overall play out, i'm sure there will be plenty of groups who have improved enough to give this particular setup a challenge. Until then, i expect more frustration.

I wouldnt bundle up mael and summer grp, we have like 1 win over mael total in 50 or so fights and about 75% wins vs summer grp/savage conclave. and id say we are about a average rvr grp in hib.

I just feel you show no real skill in this because most of the groups you face, are well, completely not on your level. This is not about how skilled you are, it's just not fun to watch when there is no challenge. There are hardly any decent groups out anymore, that's why the mediocre groups can shine.

tbh i have not come across many grps that kite a lot recently except for that hib grp with statued/elcain in it, my personal preference is to push on grps but against ur grp thats not gonna happen with the insta interrupts flying around from 3xBL and 2xBD, theres only 1 way to beat that setup imo and its to kite a lot (even tho i hate it and our grp cant do it properly).

You forgot the fire wizzies Seriously though alb tank groups suck in comparrison to hib/mid. You have to have a pally for end, sure pots last so far but not for the long fights as cloudz suggested. You have to have a friar for the resists, need friar or mercs die so quick. Then you need 2 clerics to heal the mercs and it's starting to turn into a "those 2 mercs better rox or we fucked group".

Not watched the video yet(im getting slow download also) but im sure it will be of rox and people please stop flexing your epeens.
