cannabis indica is good for falling asleep. i noticed smoking that when i have a cold/weak flu, that it also aleviates some symptoms of it. such as headache, soar throat and the sickness you sometimes get from swallowing mucus.

Someone I knew swore by eating a full clove of garlic his flu always cleared up - and within 24hours it always seemed to - though he did then stink of garlic the next day..

Live it out.

That's it.

Won't get sick so easy after your body builds up.

Then again, i pop pills and dissolvants like there's no tomorrow and feel tipsy all day. Also use JD to keep the blood running.

It's going around bud, half my family and friends are suffering with it at the momemt. Me? Well I managed to get the flu and some infection that made the glands in my neck swell up, made my kidneys constantly ache and also as a side effect of the flu I now have an ear infection.

Needless to say I ain't in a good way. Luckily it has eased off a bit over the last 24 hours so fingers crossed.

There is no magic cure. You just gotta ride it out.

- Thought about getting a flu jab ?

- Drink loads of water

- Paracetamol

- No smoking / no illegal droogs / no alcohol

- Sleep

- Vitamin C

- Stay in bed

- Don't try to be a hero and go to work / play sports.

Stop complaining and think about all the people all around the world, who got it a lot worse than you. And then get your lazy arse back to work!!

J/k, I usually runs a few laps and get it out of the system that way - but tbh I think we all got diff. ways to get by it... Some needs to lay down and relax others, like me, needs to do stuff.

But careful if you haven't done exerzizzle while sick before. It can SERIOUSLY kill you. For some the old ticker ain't built for speed.

I found putting Gladiator or Legend (with the tangerine dream soundtrack) on TV at low volume helps me get to sleep if I am sick or just insommniac. Somehow putting on just the soundtracks doesn't work as well though Oo

sorry hunny but you can't get rid of it, if its genuine flu (and not just a cold with attitude) you can't cure it you just have to let your body fight it, get lots of vit-c in you and drink plenty of fluids, stay away from dairy products though as this feeds the bacteria, lots of rest and sleep as much as you can (go to the doctors and see what stuff he can perscribe to help keep your temp in order and assist you to rest) and keep warm under a duvet even if your burning up.

Its really a good idea to go to the doctors anyway and not self diagnose as there might be some other cause for it (i thought i had really bad heat stroke a couple of summers ago because i'd had it when i was a kid and felt the same way, when i went to the doc's it turned out i had a kidney infection) so its better to be safe than sorry.

Hope you feel better soon
xx
