when i preordered the us version of si from dvdboxoffice, i got it a week after release.

so i doubt your gonna be waiting till august/september...

I think many of us will be waiting a long time. I ordered from www.cdromshop.com in May. I doubt I'll see it until mid/late July.

I emailed about 10 US places to check on probablility of getting at release.

All but one said they would not be getting enough copies to cover pre-orders.
Gamestop said they did, and as long as their system accepted your order, they would have a copy to ship, as they only take preorders for the amount promised by the distributors.

I pre-ordered from Amazon.co.uk and the release date is 29th December 2003, think i'll have to cancel it, and spend the cash on a game i can get now.

amazon.co.uk are taking pre-orders for the european launch of the game

order it from the states if you want to play now.... or get another newly released game and wait til christmas for the euroverson
